Why Women Ordination is UnBiblical (Simplified)

 

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ;

and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

1 Corinthians 11:3

--Paul demonstrates a headship here...God the head of Christ, Christ the head of the man and the man the head of the woman.

Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth

with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head:

for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head,

forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:

 but the woman is the glory of the man.

For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

1 Corinthians 11:4,5,7-9

---Paul places the Principle of headship at (and even before) the Creation.

So IT IS NOT CULTURAL.

 

Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Doth not even nature itself teach you,

that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her:

for her hair is given her for a covering.

1 Corinthians 11:13-15

---Here Paul refers to "Nature"...and Hair...

2 Views:(both sensible)

1- One View says that the Principle is universal, transcends time and that the application only is cultural. In the culture of his days in worship services women covered their heads. But the headship principle goes beyond head-coverings. So the headship principle is still applicable even if our culture doesn't cover heads in worship services.

2- Another view is that the headship principle is laid out. But Paul also adds that hair length by "nature" to teach that when men come before a Holy Creator God to worship that they look like men --

and women look like women.

---Now, What about that "Angels" comment by Paul?---

 

For this cause ought the woman

to have power on her head because of the angels.

1 Corinthians 11:10

 

---The Angel's are watching this Great Controversy playing out between God and His opponent here on the space fabric of time.
---As Christ is subservient to the Father, so too was the woman made under the man. (not in a dictatorial overbearing way).

---It's a Lesson being taught that even the Angel's didn't fully comprehend as Lucifer rose up in Rebellion against the Son.
It's teaching them that, although the Son is under the Father- yet how can they be equal?...this is the Lesson being taught.

SUMMARY:

So in an ecclesiastical setting, the man is in the headship role..

Women Ordination does NOT come from Scripture, it stems from hearts in the politics of feminism from the world that is Lost.

Now the overseer (church leader) is to be above reproach,

faithful to his wife,

temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,..
