This is what happens when you venture down the road of liberal heresy...
"Dan Wysong, is the former pastor of Chico SDA Church who became ‘famous’ for presiding over the baptism of a ‘married’ (they are not married in God’s eyes) lesbian couple into his church in
June, 2016.
This unbiblical action of Chico SDA prompted widespread scrutiny and stricture from Church members across America, even invoking a weak statement from the NAD (who managed to weave social justice into their statement).
On October 20, Dan Wysong dedicated the new baby of this lesbian couple and delivered his last sermon. Where he was going next, many were unsure. Now we know.
Dan should feel right at home at St. John’s in Woodland, CA. The United Church of Christ (UCC) is (yet another) Social Justice church.
The gap is rapidly narrowing between liberal evangelicalism and liberal Adventism. Dan Wysong should feel right at home each Sunday."
