"Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson

justified another night of riots and looting in Philadelphia by claiming that there’s nothing in the Bible which tells people not to steal.

Yes, really.

Numerous stores were trashed and looted while police officers were attacked again in response to the shooting of Walter Wallace Jr., who was killed after advancing towards officers with a knife.

 Responding to the looting, Williamson took to Twitter to declare,

“There are people in this country more concerned about a Walmart being looted than about an innocent man being killed. Many of them tout the Bible, but “Thou shall not loot” is not in there. “Thou shalt not kill” sure is.”

 

Apparently, Williamson is unaware of the Ten Commandments, one

of which literally states, “Thou shalt not steal. Ex.29:15”

Apparently, the ‘priority’ for many in Philly over the last two nights has been to secure some fresh new Jordans from Footlocker and whatever was left to loot at Walmart.

"French police “neutralized” and arrested a man Thursday morning after a knife attack inside a church in the city of Nice which left at least three dead and several injured.

Update 1210 GMT — the victim was “almost beheaded”

Of the three dead in Thursday’s Nice attack, two victims were women and one was a man. One of those women, we now know was killed next to the font of the Notre Dame church, French media reporting she was nearly completely beheaded — a development from earlier reports that stated a throat had been “cut”. The man who died was also killed inside the church was a server or sacristan.

Another woman who was stabbed several times managed to escape the church but succumbed to her injuries outside. French media is now widely reporting that the attacker did shout “Allah akbar” as he struck, in line with the earlier comments of the mayor of Nice.

A second, separate incident has taken place in the French city of Avignon. Police shot dead an “Allah Akbar” shouting gunman during an exchange of fire, but there have been no other reported injuries. Police have not yet declared the incident a terror attack." Breitbart

Christian View of Government

The Roman power, even in the days of the infamous and brutal Nero, was as much derived from God as was the Jewish power in the days of David.

"Astronomers are baffled by a Neptune-sized exoplanet with an atmosphere that should have burned up long ago.

It’s the size of Neptune. It orbits its host star once every 24 hours. That’s really moving. But it also means that its orbit is very close to the star, where temperatures are way too high for an atmosphere to survive. What’s going on?

New study details atmosphere on ‘hot Neptune’ 260 light years away that ‘shouldn’t exist’  (University of Kansas). Never tell a planet it shouldn’t exist if it does exist. That’s a bad reflection on the assumptions of the astronomers. The exoplanet has no obligation to conform to expectations.

The findings concerning the recently found planet LTT9779b were published today in Astrophysical JournalLetters. The paper details the very first spectral atmospheric characterization of any planet discovered by TESS, the first global temperature map of any TESS planet with an atmosphere and a hot Neptune whose emission spectrum is fundamentally different from the many larger “hot Jupiters” previously studied.

“For the first time, we measured the light coming from this planet that shouldn’t exist,” said Ian Crossfield, assistant professor of physics & astronomy at KU and lead author of the paper. “This planet is so intensely irradiated by its star that its temperature is over 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit and its atmosphere could have evaporated entirely. Yet, our Spitzer observations show us its atmosphere via the infrared light the planet emits.”

From spectra at occultation, the planet hunters were able to make

measurements of the orbit and temperature. They didn’t expect to see an atmosphere on a planet this small this close to the star.

“We think this is because hot Neptunes aren’t massive enough to avoid substantial atmospheric evaporation and mass loss,” he said. “So, most close-in hot exoplanets are either the massive hot Jupiters or rocky planets that have long ago lost most of their atmospheres.”

"A video out of Philadelphia shows a female police officer being run over by a truck driven by BLM rioters as another night of chaos unfolded.

The rioters hit the streets after the police shooting of Walter Wallace Jr. in an incident being described as yet another unprovoked murder of a black man.

In reality, footage of the incident shows Wallace Jr. ignoring numerous warnings from police officers to drop the weapon as he advances on them before being shot.

His name was Walter Wallace Jr. He was given repeated warnings to drop the knife. Rather than listen to those warnings, he charged at officers while brandishing the knife. This was 100 percent a justified shooting, as any rational person can see.

However, as we have seen multiple times over the past 5 months, Black Lives Matter agitators don’t let the facts get in the way of yet another chance to riot.

Creation Moment 10/28/2020 - a New Kinder Gentler Darwinism?

Tyrants marched their armies into neighboring countries, imprisoned and tortured millions, and wiped out less-evolved “primitives” all in the name of “survival of the fittest.” Darwin had taught them, these tyrants said, that nature was a struggle to gain the top of the hill, no matter how ruthless or cruel the means.

Nice Darwin?

Today’s evolutionists respond that the old Social Darwinists “misunderstood” Darwin. Now we have New Coke. A kinder, gentler Darwinism is trendy today. A recent book by Brian Hare and Vanessa Woods, Survival of the Friendliest: Understanding Our Origins and Rediscovering Our Common Humanity sounds like the polar opposite of the old Social Darwinism.

The term “fittest” is often associated with animals who are physically stronger or of more value than others, but being “fit” can also include an organism’s ability to communicate well with others in its group, which can provide an evolutionary advantage. For example, more social animals can form alliances with each other and protect each others’ young, so the whole population stays stronger in terms of number.

Too bad for all those 100-million-plus victims of experts who “misunderstood” Darwin. Such a shame. Actually, the statement only says that fitness “can” include kindness, not that it “does.” And when it does not, as in the cases of Hitler and Stalin, it is just as much an evolutionary strategy as friendliness. Today’s Darwinists talk like they have everything figured out, including the emergence of altruism (sacrificing oneself for the good of the group). They can write equations for this in their models, and make it sound very scientific. But Darwinian altruism, friendliness, and cooperation, as flowery as they look for the press, have a poisonous root: they are inherently amoral.

Revealing the Root

Darwinians have become very adept at burying the root. They may not even be aware of it much. They focus their attention on the outgrowths of their models, as various “selection pressures” affect populations of bacteria, rabbits or cichlid fish in an African lake. They believe that their models help understand various outcomes of populations that either thrive, fight, cooperate, or go extinct. To them, it’s all a game. They call it “game theory.”

But here’s the rub: human organisms (in their thinking) follow the same models, which are completely amoral. The modern Social Darwinism, just like the old Social Darwinism, shares this common poison: the pursuit of fitness by natural selection. NS is equivalent to the Stuff Happens Law because whatever happens is an acceptable outcome of Darwin’s mechanism. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be will be. 

If it is a thriving ecosystem, fine. If it is genocide, fine. There may be a dark side of this farce, but it is equivalent to the light side. It’s all subjective. Those who fight for the “dark” side believe the other side is evil. The endless struggle for the golden apple of “fitness” drives a war of all against all, offering only pockets of safety until the next aggressor shows up."

CLEAN ANIMALS NOT TO BE YOKED WITH UNCLEAN

The GARMENT MADE OF ONE TYPE OF CLOTH

(Is. 61:10) Before man sinned, he was clothed with a garment of light and glory, and God designs that our garments should remind us of the heavenly dress with which He will finally clothe the redeemed. God says, "My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images." (Isa. 44:6; 42;8)

Part of our life can not be clothed with the "filthy rags" of our own righteousness, (Is. 64:6).  

 

The Savior taught the lesson that we can not patch our own filthy robes of self-righteousness with the righteousness of Christ. "No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old." (Luke 5:36)."

Papal Notes - Neo-Communism, Biden & Francis

"Professor Renato Cristin commented in a recent interview that

Pope Francis is the leader of the global left, a fact confirmed by Francis himself when he embraced so-called homosexual civil unions. 

 

The only question is whether Francis is a Marxist masquerading as a Catholic, or whether he has somehow in his own mind synthesized Christianity and Communism into a bizarre philosophy of “Christian communism.” 

 

Pope Francis, a nice guy who smiles a lot and seems friendly with people. Cristin comments that “Catholic communism, which is in effect an oxymoron, has become a point of reference for many people throughout the West, forming one of the aspects of neo-communism in circulation today.”

 

Francis declaration in favor of homosexual civil unions is designed to purge traditional Catholics from the church and solidify his power. It also seems designed to provide cover for so-called Catholics

looking to vote for the faux Catholic Biden, who approves of homosexual marriages and actually married two men in a ceremony at one of his lavish homes.

Can you imagine the spectacle of “You may kiss the bride,” as two “husbands” tie the knot? 

Biden, a Catholic, was there, as if he were the Justice of the Peace. Leaving aside Catholic or religious teaching, common sense and

basic science demonstrate that two men can’t reproduce. 

It is DNA denial of the most basic form. A gay “union” or “marriage,” therefore, is a denial of biological reality. It represents the destruction of humanity.

 

Yet, Biden's wife, Jill, tweeted, “Love is love!”

For his part, Francis is a committed left-wing ideologue whose ascension to the papacy was itself strange, as Pope Benedict was

forced out in what seemed like the kind of coup the American intelligence agencies attempted against President Trump. That makes Francis more dangerous than Biden, a pawn of the same global forces Francis is leading."
