These tiny glass beads were retrieved by the Chinese Chang’e 5 spacecraft. Their surprise is due to the fact that our moon is a relatively small body, and small planets and moons lose their thermal energy to space relatively quickly.

"Scientists have successfully grown some plants in moon dust collected by NASA astronauts during the Apollo missions. This is a fascinating result, and there is excitement about the possibility of growing plants on the moon when astronauts return there in the coming years.

"There have been four proposed mechanisms for the formation of the moon. Three are considered disproven: 

(1) the fission theory, in which the moon separated from the earth

during rotation, 

(2) the capture theory, in which the earth captured a wandering moon, and 

(3) the condensation theory, in which the earth and moon formed from the condensation of the same dust cloud during the formation of the solar system. 

Another proposed mechanism is that the moon formed after a collision between the earth and a Mars-sized object that ejected debris out to the current orbit of the moon. The debris coalesced forming the moon and the earth. This mechanism was accepted in the late 20th century, not because of the merits of the theory but because of the shortcomings of the other three theories. The ‘giant impact hypothesis’ has now dominated for over 30 years, but not without major problems for which revised models have been suggested.

Since the geochemical properties of the moon are so similar to those of the earth, the giant impact hypothesis has run into problems. The moon should have a similar composition to the impactor, which should be much different than that of the earth. Numerous computer models have been applied to figure out why the earth and moon are so similar.

This has created a modern crisis in the giant impact concept: if more than half of the moon’s material came from the impactor, how can the moon’s isotopes be nearly identical to the earth’s?

After numerous computer simulations, some scientists now think they have solved the crisis by postulating the Mars-sized object hit a ‘magma ocean’ on the early Earth. In this way, more of the earth material would end up forming the moon. Most models of Earth’s formation postulate a mantle magma ocean caused by the gravitational potential energy of numerous planetesimals transformed into heat. And because a magma ocean is supposed to have more liquid FeO, which accounts for the enrichment of FeO on the moon by a factor of two, it ‘solves’ the problem of higher FeO content on the moon.

In the new simulation with a magma ocean, 70% of the moon would be Earth material, instead of the 40% from previous models. Melosh thinks that the greater proportion of Earth material ejected to form the moon may still not be good enough to explain nearly identical isotopes:

“Although the work of Hosono et al. is an important step towards understanding why the earth and moon are so isotopically similar, it does not wholly resolve the problem. The large changes they report from modifying the SPH code appear to be at odds with the previous validation of the SPH method. The thermodynamic description of the melt used by Hosono et al. must also be improved in future work, to incorporate better thermodynamic models that are valid over the entire range of pressures and temperatures involved in the impact.”

The SPH (Smooth-Particle Hydrodynamic) code includes a “complex necessarily 3D geometry of self-gravitating fluids flowing at supersonic speeds.” And Hosono et al. modified it. It would be very difficult to get such a process correct, which is one reason why Melosh is skeptical.

Hosono et al. state that the many models to explain the problems for the naturalistic origin of the moon are ad hoc, with several glaring problems remaining:

“It should be noted that in all of these models rather ad hoc assumptions are made about the mechanics of GI [giant impact] to explain the chemical similarities between the moon and Earth. It is therefore difficult to explain the angular momentum of the Earth-Moon system in these models.”

Further, the planetary scientists say that the moon lacks an iron-rich core, which may present a problem in explaining the ancient magnetic field of the moon.

The numerous computer gyrations are really showing that a naturalistic origin of the moon is extremely difficult, if not impossible. The best explanation is given by the Word of God: And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. Genesis 1:16." CMI

SDA Issues: Lunar "sabbath":--A Most DAMNABLE HERESY

 The Lunar "sabbath" nonsense has reared it's Luciferian inspired
head among some in the Church. One prominent youtuber of the Church has now announced she has left the Church over it.

 

*To be BLUNT, there comes a dividing line where the gloves have to come off and a response in the strongest terms is required.

But the Lunar "sabbath" to quote Peter, is a most DAMNABLE HERESY .....

 

WHY it's a DAMNABLE HERESY?

1) It leads people to trample on the Holy Sabbath Day of God in return for keeping a false sabbath based on some ASTROLOGY based holy day.

2) Since the day bounces around the year based on calculations of

the New Moon, many who fall for it will have a hard time holding down a job when your sabbath moves around the calendar.

3) Even Sunday keepers acknowledge what day is the Biblical Sabbath, the 7th Day. They just arrogate to themselves the authority transfer the solemnity of it to the first day, and admit that's what they do.  

4) Makes a Mockery of Creation week in Genesis, as these proponents of Lunar Astrological Nonsense look like spiritual simpletons as they point to the evening and morning being the first day, etc. before the sun, moon and stars made on the 4th day. Some of them claim the sun and moon had to exist on day one. 

[Excuse me, but to just inject some common sense here, the light shining upon earth as it rotated, would have been the light of God Himself as He appeared in His glory to perform His work of Creation... And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. Genesis.1:3/John 1:1,2,4] 

5) They take the "signs" referenced on the 4th day of creation (and let

them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Genesis 1:14) to refer to using to identify the sabbath since the sabbath is called a "sign" of God's people.

[Once again, Excuse me, but it's clear in that context that "signs" is used to refer to marking off the secular times of the year---not the holy day of worship: SEE I-III below]

6) It undermines the Scriptural identification of the Mark of the Beast.

*God's Holy Sabbath Day is distinct from time keeping identified on the 4th day of creation because the Sabbath was a Memorial in and of itself to God as Creator. Hence He set up a specific day to flow throughout human history as a reminder. Hence the word "Remember":  

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

I. The weekly Sabbath, the Holy Day of the Week, was established at Creation:

It's detailed in His Law as a weekly Memorial to Him as Creator: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God:....For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

III. At the Cross the Sabbath was identified as the 7th day of the week---He was crucified and buried before the Sabbath Day began, thereby rested in the tomb on the 7th Day Sabbath, and rose of the First Day to continue His work:  

This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day

according to the commandment.

Even the most simple minded person could understand the teachings

of the Sabbath from Scripture. 

So WHY this DAMNABLE HERESY? There is NO EXCUSE for those in the Church to even be enticed by such attempts at Delusion on this one....NONE.

That leads us to this youtuber who recently announced she has left the Church over the Lunar "sabbath".

She first got caught up in the 2520 Nonsense but backtracked.

Then she more recently got caught up in what she and disingenuously and erroneously calls "Biblical Cosmology" or what

would be better known as flat earth science.

And from there she got infected by Lunar "sabbath" Heresy and finds herself leaving the Church and railing against Church pioneers such as Mrs. White. 

She claims White led the Church that God called up into Babylon because Mrs. White was a strong proponent of the 7th Day Sabbath. (yes, you heard that right. She believes Church pioneers like Ellen White led the Church into part of Papal Rome by keeping the 7th Day Sabbath---because this youtuber believes the "weekend" (Saturday and Sunday) come from the Gregorian Calendar, therefore 7th Day Sabbath keeping is Papist according to her.  --- Now what kind of convoluted psycho-babbel is that to claim SDA's were led into spiritual Babylon of Papal Rome by keeping the 7th Day Sabbath?!?!?

Some of that basalt was also dated, but it gave ‘only’ 3.8 to 3.1 billion years.

This is a conundrum. 

---One would expect that the basalt, which erupts quickly, would rapidly fill the crater soon after impact. From the dates, however, they were forced to assume that the eruptions continued, forming fresh basalt, for almost a billion years after the impact.

 

The conundrum has intensified since Chinese scientists recovered

basalt rocks from the maria, part of an estimated 2,000 km³ that erupted from the moon’s mantle. They ‘dated’ it at around two billion years. This means that the eruptions must have continued for some two billion years after the impact. But how can that be? The moon’s small size means any internal heat would have long since cooled in that time, solidifying the magma. The moon’s mantle also has very few heat-producing radioactive elements, so radioactivity cannot be invoked as a solution.

NASA is claiming the moon formed within hours after a collision....

Collision May Have Formed the Moon in Mere Hours, Simulations Reveal (NASA Ames Research Center, 4 Oct 2022). Mere hours? 

Q: What happened to the billions of years? 

A: Oh, they are still there. It went like this: Billions of yearssszzzz…Poof!…Billions of yearssszzzz. In this latest version of the Poof Spoof, NASA claims that the moon essentially popped into existence within hours after an incoming asteroid hit the Earth. Well, at least it works in a computer game played by materialists called “Computational Cosmology” (like Sim-Moon).

Billions of years ago, a version of our Earth that looks very different than the one we live on today was hit by an object about the size of Mars, called Theia – and out of that collision the Moon was formed. How exactly that formation occurred is a scientific puzzle researchers have studied for decades, without a conclusive answer.

A new simulation puts forth a different theory – the Moon may have formed immediately, in a matter of hours, when material from the Earth and Theia was launched directly into orbit after the impact.

Theia is an imaginary object required by the storytellers to get their materialist just-so story to work. It had to be there, because we’re here, aren’t we? "Tides are caused by gravity. The closer two things are, the stronger

the force of gravity between them, and the faster they accelerate toward one another.

The oceans, however, are not solid. They are free to react to the sun’s gravitational pull. The ocean on the near side would literally fall toward the sun faster than the earth and the ocean on the far side would literally fall more slowly than the earth.

 

Solar tides occur twice every day, 12 hours apart, as the earth spins. But since the moon is orbiting the earth, it takes 24 hours and 50 minutes for the moon to get to the same place in the sky as it was the day before. 

Thus, the solar and lunar tides happen at different frequencies. When the solar and lunar tides are lined up, either at a full moon or a new moon, we experience above average spring tides. They occur every two weeks, not just in the Spring! 

 

When the lunar high tide happens at the same time as the solar low tide, and vice versa, the two tides cancel each other out. 

The smaller tidal effect caused by the sun is subtracted from the larger tidal effect caused by the moon. At these times we have below average ‘neap’ tides.

 

There is an amazing design aspect to this system. The moon is just the right size and just the right distance to produce tides that gently flush our coastlands. 

---If the tides were much stronger, the earth would experience twice-daily tsunamis that would rip apart rocks and destroy any living thing even within great distances from the shore. 

---If the tides were much smaller, bays and estuaries would be stagnant and inhospitable to life. 

 

The earth-moon system is unique in our solar system. It defies the possibility that it has arisen by chance. Thus, the presence of tides points to intelligent design, by a loving God, who gave us a wonderful place to live." CMI

"Evolutionists say that our sun and its orbiting planets (i.e. our ‘solar system’) arose from a rotating gas/dust cloud approximately 4.5 billion years ago.

This is known as the ‘nebular hypothesis’, from Latin, nebula meaning ‘cloud’.

Some have suggested that the moon simply formed at the same time and sufficiently close to the earth to end up in orbit around it. This is known as the ‘condensation theory’. Just as a water droplet condenses from steam as it cools, so the moon is said to have ‘condensed’ from dust as gravity pulled tiny dust particles together into a big lump.

If this explanation were correct, however, we would expect the moon to be akin to a mini Earth, being made up of essentially the same materials.
