IN the NEWS - a Sign of the Times: Tucker is Right

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,... Romans 1:22

Think about the level of moral depravity we have sunk to as a nation since Pride-mania has swept the Fruited Plains of Post-Pax Americana.... we not only sacrifice Free Speech and Freedom of Religion on the Altar to it---but now it guides our Foreign Policy as we DEMAND others stoop to the same level of political depravity.
You know it's bad when the Pride Movement is the centerpiece of your International Relations.

"Tucker Carlson flew to Hungary last week where he gave two
powerful speeches
- apologizing for the
United States' lack of diplomacy and its "cultural imperialism."
Carlson started by apologizing on behalf of the United States after US Ambassador David Pressman, a gay activist, lectured the Hungarian government over LGBTQ rights.

"The point of diplomacy is not to hector other nations for its own sake," said Carlson. "To show up in someone else's country and scream at them because they're different from you."

"I'm not in the habit of apologizing for the United States. In fact, I don't think I ever have, but the behavior of the American ambassador to Hungary makes me want to apologize," said Carlson. "It's disgusting and inexcusable. It's also so far from the norms of diplomacy in my country that it's hard for me to believe that David Pressman is actually doing what he's doing.
And so for a creep like David Pressman, who is not a diplomat -
who's
a political activist and Biden donor - to show up in your country and lecture you about your culture, and threaten you because you do things differently from the way they do things where he lives... hurts the United States and is a grave embarrassment to me as an American, and an outrage to me as someone who pays his salary. It's disgusting."

Currently same-sex couples in Hungary aren't allowed to adopt children, and changing genders is also illegal.

Pressman, meanwhile is a gay human rights lawyer and California-born former aide to former US Secretary of State Madeline Albright. Earlier this year, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto slammed Pressman, saying he was way out of line." ZeroHedge

Papal Notes - Calling for an "Ecumenical Character"

And all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? Revelation 13:3, 4

"Pope Francis arrived in Hungary on April 28, 2023, for an
apostolic visit to the nation. During a welcome ceremony, the
Pope met with the president, the prime minister, and other political authorities at the Sándor Palace. In his official address to the nation, Pope Francis urged Hungarians and the European community to come together as one, to use Christianity as a “bridge builder,” and to end divisions. The Vatican’s Holy Press Office reported the following:
The most famous bridge in Budapest, the chain bridge, helps us to envision that kind of Europe, since it is composed of many great and diverse links that derive their solidity and strength from being joined together. In this regard, the Christian faith can be a resource, and Hungary can act as a “bridge builder” by drawing upon its specific ecumenical character..... It is urgent then, as Europe, to work for secure and legal corridors and established processes for meeting an epochal challenge that is ineluctable and needs to be acknowledged, in order to prepare a future that, unless it is shared, will not exist.”

Pope Francis is urging church and state to collaborate in order to
impact and change our societies. This is a dangerous course that will lead to disastrous results such as the loss of religious freedoms, the corruption of the church, and the undermining of our civil rights. The
Pope is once again inserting himself into political matters, seeking political power, and causing the world to become intoxicated with the wine of Babylon." AdventMessenger

IN the NEWS - More Excuses for Sunday Sacredness Trotted Out....

Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin...
Isaiah 30:1

"On August 25, 2022, the Daily News Hungary published an article titled, “Will Sunday shop closures be reintroduced in Hungary?” The article argued that a full Sunday shutdown for business operations would now be necessary, citing skyrocketing power and gas prices. As a result, all businesses would have to close completely on Sundays. The report said:
Zoltán Karsai, President of the Trade Union of Commercial
Employees says, it is a huge cost-saving opportunity for a commercial enterprise if it has to cool or heat a store half a day less a week, or even light it at all. This is why, with the current energy prices, it is worth renegotiating the issue of closing shops on Sundays … The expert emphasized that the skyrocketing electricity and gas prices would now justify a full Sunday closure. However, for now, the target for commercial enterprises is to close at noon on the seventh day of the week (Sunday)
”
In addition to the energy crisis, the second reason given for full Sunday closures was labor shortages:
Another important issue to consider is the scheduling of work. As retail remains one of the sectors most affected by labor shortages, closing shops at noon on Sundays could lead to different weekend shifts and the bonuses received for them.”
The labor union in Hungary is gathering signatures from employees at various retail locations and is expecting a “real breakthrough.” They hope to get the “issue of Sunday shop closure into the hands of the “decision-makers soon.” The union would like to see “full Sunday closures” go into effect as early as January 1, 2023." SDA Issues - SDA's in Hungary Bend the Knee

Tamas Ocsai, President of the Hungarian Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

"Sunday, January 24, 2021, Roman Catholic Cardinal Peter Erdo organized a service during the last day of the 2021 Ecumenical Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. This final ceremony took place at St. Teresa the Great Catholic Church in Budapest, Hungary and was attended by Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Jews, Seventh-day Adventists and Pentecostals.

The leaders included: Catholic Cardinal Peter Erdo, Reformed Church Bishop Jozsef Steinbach, Catholic Bishop Abel Szocska, Lutheran Bishop Paul Lackner, President of the Hungarian Baptist Church Janos Papp, President of the Methodist Church in Hungary Laszlo A. Khaled, President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hungary Tamas Ocsai,  Chief Rabbi Robert Frolich; President of the Hungarian Pentecostal Church Albert Pataky and Secretary General of the Ecumenical Council of Hungarian Churches Pastor Vilmos Fischl.

Roman Catholic Cardinal Peter Erdo welcomed the participants with the following words:

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Today is the Sunday of the word of God in the Catholic Church by order of Pope Francis. On the last day of the ecumenical week of prayer, this feast reminds us that the Word of God connects the various Christian communities.”

In other words, Cardinal Erdo revealed that this group of ecumenical leaders had gathered on Sunday, God’s Day, January 24, 2021, in obedience to Pope Francis’ “order” to celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. That is what the Catholic Cardinal said and that is what the local news published along with photos of the different leaders apparently obeying the Pope’s call, including Tamas Ocsai, the President of the Hungarian Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Churches, the top Adventist in the country.

The growing prominence of the papacy in political and religious affairs is astonishing. Both political and religious leaders are paying respect and obedience to Pope Francis. The world is basically saying, “Who is like unto beast? Who is able to make war on him? (Revelation 13:4)." AdventMessenger
