7 marks of rebellion

For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, The captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. Isaiah 3:1-3

"So the summary of the seven marks of rebellion in Isaiah chapter 3:1-3 is:

--seeking human wisdom over divine inspiration, 

--seeking security without submission to the word of God, 

--distrust in God, 

--ignoring His counsel, 

--entering forbidden alliances, 

--depending on earthly systems, 

--acting independently of God's revealed will in scripture.

So according to Isaiah, rebellion is not merely breaking a command. It is the choice to pursue plans, alliances, protection, and solutions independent of God's direction and spirit.
Rebellion is claiming to be God's people but acting in our own wisdom. And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD. Joshua 9:14."
