IN the NEWS - VIOLENCE: Signs of the Times

They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice./Thou shalt do no murder, ...Matthew 19:18/Romans 1:29 NIV

"A new poll shows that women are more likely than men to believe that political assassination is at least somewhat justified.
The Daily Wire reported that a new Network Contagion Research Institute poll shows...“Contrary to conventional assumptions that
political violence is more closely associated with male respondents, we observe a reversal of this pattern in expressed justification
,” the Network Contagion Research Institute stated.
Female respondents were more likely than male respondents to tolerate some degree of justification.
The Network Contagion Research Institute noted that the poll suggests that “support for political violence in this context does not conform to traditional gender-based expectations.”
Joel Finkelstein, co-founder of the Network Contagion Research Institute, told The Daily Wire that the surprising information obtained in the recent poll is the fact that the individuals who supported the justification of political assassinations were from all demographics and persuasions.
We dug into the data because this felt like it was describing a deeper moral crisis,” Finkelstein said. “We assumed young men would be driving this, given unemployment, disengagement, and declining graduation rates. That’s why we explicitly examined gender. What surprised us, honestly shocked us, was that women were more likely to show tolerance for political violence.”
Over the past decade, women, especially younger women have become more politically polarized, more emotionally moralized, and more immersed in online political identity formation,” Finkelstein stated."
