---that Jesus died for our sake,
---not for His own.
He did not need to come to this earth and be tempted, to prove His own loyalty to the Father.
He came to declare the Father’s name unto His brethren.
*He came to show that by the faithfulness of God all flesh can be saved. “In Him is no sin;” but He was made to be sin for us, in that He bore our sins. 2 Cor. 5:21.
-a- The flesh that He took was our flesh;
-b- the sins that He overcame were our sins;
-c- and He did really overcome them."
