Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:7
"Seventh-day Adventist leaders would be wise to remember that
spiritual disciplines and spiritual formation assume the existence of the soul as a timeless spiritual substance and the seat of the self, reason, and spirituality.
The first casualties in this concept of spirituality are Scripture and the incarnated and ascended Christ.
In this model, spirituality does not center on the incarnated Christ and His revelation in Scripture.
Of course, both are integrated, but merely as symbols, signs, and metaphors for ultimate-spiritual-timeless realities."
