Greta Thunburg has already appeared before the US House’s Foreign Affairs Committee telling them to take action on the climate crisis. She is calling upon US lawmakers to “listen to the scientists” and to “unite behind the science” during her meeting on Capitol Hill.
Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg is also leading a nationwide, student-led “climate strike” in America. She has brought her international “climate strike” to our shores and now there are at least 800 schools and millions of kids who will be walking out of class.....leading up to the 2019 United Nation’s Climate Action Summit scheduled for this Monday, September 23, 2019.
At this summit the nations will demand that action be taken to save our planet. They will pledge their support to limit coal and other fossil fuels. They will push for green energy and call on the world to accept the Paris Climate Agreement.
“By false representations and angry appeals they will stir up the passions of the people … they will resort to oppressive enactments … To secure popularity and patronage, legislators will yield to the demand for a Sunday law” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 451).
The Pope’s green Sunday law will come through “false representations and angry appeals.” This sums up the entire climate change movement today. This entire weekend will be dedicated to “false representations and angry appeals.”
