Another part of the "Secret" Rapture MYTH is that God will secretly rapture His people before the triblulation (or time of trouble) from earth so they won't have to go through it---but the problem with that MYTH is -
It is for the sake of the "elect" that the days of tribulation are shortened. The "elect" of God, His people, will live through it.
God did not remove Noah from the flood, but rather preserved him through the flood
God did not save Daniel from the den of the lions, but rather preserved him in the lions den
God did not prevent the 3 friends of Daniel from being put into the fiery furnace, but He preserved them in it among the flames
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the
world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but
for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Matthew 24:21,22
