Creation Moment 8/4/2018 - Living Machinery

 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:

Psalm 92: For the Sabbath Day

[[A Psalm or Song for the Sabbath day.]]

Psalm 92:
"The Sabbath was set apart for adoring the Lord in his finished work of creation, hence the suitableness of this Psalm;
Christians may take even a higher flight, for they celebrate complete redemption.
The introduction is a call to praise the Lord, both morning and evening (verses 1-3).

Verses 1-15: This psalm expresses the exuberance of the psalmist as he recognizes that God is

merciful in salvation, great in His works of creation, just in His dealings with the wicked, and faithful in prospering His children.

I.          An Expression of Theistic Optimism (92:1-5).

O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. vs.5

II.         An Observation Concerning Righteous Sovereignty (92:6-9).

But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore. vs.8

III.       A Testimony to God’s Goodness (92:10-15).

To shew that the LORD is upright:  vs.15

Title: “For the Sabbath day”:

In the post-Exilic community, some psalms were 

-- sung throughout the week in connection with the morning and evening sacrifice; 

-- others were designated especially for Sabbath worship.

 

Verse 2. To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning. The day should begin with praise: no hour is too early for holy song. Loving kindness is a most appropriate theme for those dewy hours when morn is sowing all the earth with orient pearl.

Verse 6. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. In this and the following verses the effect of the psalm is heightened by contrast; the shadows are thrown in to bring out the lights more prominently.....*A brutish man knoweth not - בער איש ish baar, the human hog - the stupid bear - the boor; the man who is all flesh; in whom spirit or intellect neither seems to work nor exist. The brutish man, who never attempts to see God in his works.
*Neither doth a fool understand this - כסיל kesil, the fool, is different from בער baar, the brutish man; the latter has mind, but it is buried in flesh; the former has no mind, and his stupidity is unavoidable.
Verse 13. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.  Fellowship with the stem begets fertility in the branches. If a man abide in Christ he brings forth much fruit. Those professors who are rooted to the world do not flourish; those who send forth their roots into the marshes of frivolous pleasure cannot be in a vigorous condition;
Verse 14. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age. Nature decays but grace thrives.

 

 This the psalmist triumphs in:

He is my rock and there is no unrighteousness in him."

According to this idea, the individual is the sum total of the environmental influences that he has experienced from conception. While this concept is not new to the twentieth century, the past few decades have taken it out of its philosophic origins and placed it into the practicalities of psychological techniques and practice. The empiricist movement has received great impetus from evolutionary theory with its emphasis upon adaptation to environment and its failure to recognize God as a first cause

Supposed Bilocation of sister Maria

Bilocation, or sometimes multilocation, is an alleged psychic or miraculous ability wherein an individual or object is located (or appears to be located) in two distinct places at the same time.

IF she really Bilocated---then we know who it really was appearing elsewhere---And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

"1602 Maria Fernández Coronel joined the Order of the Immaculate Conception located in Spain. The religious community was known for its blue habit, and she took the name Maria de Jesús.
She led a devout prayer life and her sanctity was well known. Sister Maria’s spiritual wisdom was

even sought after by King Philip IV of Spain, who exchanged letters with her for more than 20 years.
However, Sister Maria became most well known for her apparent bi-location between Spain and New Spain (Texas and New Mexico). It is reported that starting in 1620 Sister Maria was mystically transported to a tribe of Native Americans in the New World and converted them to the Christian faith.

It is said that she encountered the Jumano Indians more than 500 times and, according to DesertUSA, “instructed them in the fundamentals of the Faith, speaking to them in their own language. Her spirit carried rosaries from her cell to give to her charges… healed the sick [and] won converts.” Sister Maria later urged them to contact the local Franciscan missionaries for assistance in starting a new mission.
The phenomenon was investigated by a priest who visited the area where these Native Americans

were located. The priest spoke with the local Franciscans, who recounted how a tribe sought them out and told them a lady dressed in blue taught them the Christian faith.
The priest then showed the natives a painting of an older nun from the same religious community. They responded that the woman was wearing the same clothes, but that the woman they saw was younger and came from the sky.

Sister Maria’s mystical appearances became widely known and she was quickly interrogated by the Church. Surprisingly Sister Maria was able to recount events that occurred in the missionary territory and even recognized a priest who was present at the baptism of a Native American. Her bi-locating presence in the New World was apparently vital to the development of Christian missions in the region and her story has become embedded in local history.
Later on in life Sister Maria experienced visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary and recorded them in a book entitled Mystical City of God.
She died in 1665 and shortly after her death, was declared “venerable” by the Church. Her body was found incorrupt several hundred years later when her casket was opened in the 20th century."

Creation Moment 8/3/2018 - Genesis Links Revelation & the Sabbath

"Both the message in Revelation and the Sabbath commandment in Exodus call atten­tion to the creation of heaven and earth, the record

of which is found in the first chapter of the Bible.

The first angel's message of Revela­tion exhorts us to worship the God of the first chapter of Genesis, and the Sabbath command­ment of Exodus does the same.

It is not enough, however, to link Revelation 14 with Exodus 20. This is good as far as it goes ; but both of these are dependent upon Genesis and must be linked with it.

We must not omit the creation ; for the One who made heaven and earth is the One we are to worship, and He is also the One who made the Sabbath."

IN the NEWS - Pence on Religous Freedom

This is a sad state of affairs for 2 Reasons:
1) That, in America, religious Freedom has been under attack in the first place, and we have to defend it. (Religious Freedom should already be firmly established)
2) That many so-called "Christian" leaders will either oppose this (to be politically correct) or claim  that this will lead to the mark of the beast. (The mark of the beast will come--and not because someone defended Religous Freedom)

"It’s very clear that many of the atheist/Darwinist tweeters do not even read the articles they complain about. Just hearing about something that lumps a person in with “them” (creationists), or seeing something that questions the Darwinian consensus is enough to set them off. They don’t see the irony in their words:

• They will lie, and then call you a liar.
• They will display bigotry, but call you a bigoted creationist who refuses to look at evidence.
• They don’t understand their own theory, but will call you ignorant.
• They accuse you of trusting a holy book, but will rely on authority of the scientific consensus.
• They will make fallacious statements, but accuse you of logical fallacies.
• They will rush to judgment, then say you don’t use the scientific method.
• They will say you don’t have any scientific evidence, then ignore the evidence you give them.
• They demand specific answers, but speak in broad generalities.
• They will say you don’t understand science, but then use religious arguments.
• They will call you irrational, but then engage in mockery.
• They will threaten you, then call you a threat to society.

What is it about Darwinism that does this to people? In a sense, you could say that they are acting in accordance with their beliefs. .... But
