You hear a lot these days of hostility towards Chrisianity, espcially when it comes to the current hot button topic of gay marriage. But we must remember that the world's ways are not God's ways.
The world is at ENMITY with God.

Some people try mocking the Creation story by asking how Adam, within one day, could have had

time to "name all the animals"? Well, God created each "kind" and the genetic diversity within each kind over time is how we get the different breeds, etc.
For example, all wolves, coyotes, dogs & foxes come from one pair of wolves genetically. So there would have been just a pair of wolves. And not even the different breeds yet....
Smae thing for elephants, cats, etc...........So as you can see, it would not have been so time consuming as one might think.

George Beverly Shea (1909-2013) died following a stroke on 4/16/2013. The Canadian born singer was the first well known national Gospel singer. His claim to fame is that he was the performer for many of the early Billy Graham crusades.
From 1944-1952 he also sang for the Sunday night Billy Graham radio program Songs in the Night.
Mr. Shea was 104.

Since the little F-ring shepherd moon Prometheus has a similar color to the rings, Bonnie Buratti added to the story. “Scientists had been wondering whether ring particles could have stuck together to form moons — since the dominant theory was that the rings basically came from satellites being broken up,” she said, preparing the reader for a dramatic turnaround. “The coloring gives us some solid proof that it can work the other way around, too.” Solid proof has a nice-sounding ring of certainty to it. If it “can” work the other way around, why, then, it must have.
The press release conveniently left out any discussion of how long the Enceladus eruption affair has been going on. The handlers of these aberrant moons know their job: mitigate the bad news by controlling the focus of attention.

One cannot look at color and come up with an age. The article even said that the deposits from the geyser spray and dust from asteroids is only skin deep. Does that sound like it’s been going on for billions of years?

Distraction:

Though "natural selection", or a better term, "genetic diversity", dogs disprove that "natural selection" (genetic diversity) leads to evolution.
All wolves, coyotes, dogs & foxes descend from a common pair of wolves. One can take a pair of wolves today and breed back down to say, a pair of poodles. But you cannot take a pair of poodles and breed back up to a pair of wolves. Why? Because of a loss of genetic info.

"OTTAWA -- Two recent deaths among the members of the Neskantaga First Nation have prompted 

Nothern Ontario's Ring of Fire area

the remote northern Ontario community to declare a state of emergency in the hope of getting help to prevent the spread of suicide.

The First Nation northeast of Thunder Bay has seen two of its members die over the last two weeks, throwing the fragile community of 300 into grief and fear for the stability of other families.
Chief Peter Moonias said that just as the community was burying the first victim -- a man in his 30s -- they learned of the death of a 19-year-old from Neskantaga living in Thunder Bay.
The problems come just a few months after another young man took his life there in December, a tragedy that prompted the community to close ranks and put its youth on suicide watch to prevent additional deaths.
"One suicide, we could have handled. ... Not easily, but we could have come back," said Moonias.
But the suicides are coming so close together that almost no one in the community of about 300 has been left untouched, he said. And now, they can't cope.
Community and regional leaders decided to declare the state of emergency Wednesday to get help from the Red Cross and the Ontario government's emergency management office.
Moonias said he was also hoping for help from any level of government in putting together a long-term plan that will confront Neskantaga's serious problems with addiction to prescription drugs."

"Because of this evolutionary type of propaganda, many people are confused about cavemen.

However, there is a very simple definition for this term: “Cavemen” are people who live (or lived) in caves!

Because of the indoctrination of evolutionary beliefs, people believe that man evolved from slime, and as he did, he first learned to grunt, and then eventually speak. Then he developed stone tools that gradually became more sophisticated as he supposedly evolved.

However, from a biblical perspective, man was highly intelligent right from the start. Adam’s immediate descendants were soon inventing musical instruments and working with brass. No doubt Noah and his family began reinventing some of the technology lost at the Flood.
Some people (such as the group we call Neanderthals) probably became isolated from other humans. They lived in caves, invented musical instruments, made jewelry, and buried their dead. Yes, they were “cavemen,” but they were our relatives—descendants of Noah.
They may have looked slightly different on the outside, just as Australian Aborigines look different from northern Canada’s Inuit, but their genetics clearly show they are all members of the human race.
This brings us to the most important point. In 2000, the Human Genome Project announced to the world that all humans biologically belong to one race. Familiar Spirits

Luther's Last Supper

Martin Luther, during his last supper, spent it sitting around discussing with his hosts as to whether, during the resurrection, we will be able to recognize each other. (He went to bed complaing of chest pains, and those there gathered around his bedside as he died that evening).

Artist Ottmar Hörl’s project replaces the bronze statue of the reformer which usually dominates the square.
These were removed from their pedestals in April to be cleaned ahead of the 500th anniversary in 2017 of Luther pinning his 95 theses on a Wittenberg church door, which is seen as the catalyst for the European Reformation.
Hörl has said this is to represent Luther’s own understanding of himself as on eye-level with common people. He said big memorials do not fit such a thinker. “Luther is a figure who would have more likely made himself small than large,” he said.

During snowfall on top of the ice sheets, dust, air, acids, etc. are added and eventually incorporated into the ice. Some of these parameters oscillate during the seasons and can be a signature for an annual layer of snowfall. The annual snowfall over Antarctica is normally too small to resolve annual layers down an ice core. It is the Greenland Ice Sheet that exhibits annual cycles of one or more of the variables down an ice core.
One of the most used annual variables in Greenland ice cores is the oxygen isotope ratio in the ice.

Oxygen comes in three isotopes, depending on the number of neutrons in the nucleus of the atom. For practical purposes, the ratio between oxygen-18 and oxygen-16 is the variable used, oxygen-17 being too small to be useful. Oxygen-18 has two more neutrons than oxygen-16 and has a higher mass. Because of the different mass, the ratio of these isotopes will vary during evaporation and condensation cycles, which are correlated with temperature. So during summer, warmer temperatures result in a higher oxygen-18/oxygen-16 ratio of the snowfall, while in winter the ratio is lower. This seasonal oscillation can be measured down Greenland ice cores.
Glaciologists claim that they can count 110,000 annual layers downward from the top to near the bottom of the Greenland ice sheet (Meese et al., 1997). This analysis was performed on the American GISP2 core drilled between 1989 to 1993 from the top of the ice in central Greenland to bedrock at about 10,000 feet deep (Oard, 1995). The GRIP core was drilled nearby at the same time by a European team. It is further claimed that the very basal ice is 250,000 years old (Dansgaard et al., 1993), or possibly 2.4 million years, back to the time of the original buildup of the ice sheet (Souchez, 1997).
The reason for this is because uniformitarian scientists view the ice sheet as maintaining equilibrium, about the same height and shape, for a few million years. Thus they view each annual layer as becoming greatly compressed the deeper in the ice sheet. The number of annual layers is simply an outgrowth of their extended time scale.
On the other hand, creationists view both the Greenland and Antarctica Ice Sheets as products of a post-Flood rapid Ice Age, plus additional ice added after the Ice Age (Oard, 1990).
Since the Ice Age ended about 4000 years ago, the compression of the ice sheet has been much less than uniformitarian scientists believe, but still substantial (Vardiman, 1993). So, one annual layer deep in the ice sheet may represent 100 or even 1000 uniformitarian ‘annual cycles.’
Furthermore, the ice sheet during the Ice Age would have been lower and warmer at the time the snow was building. This would have resulted in more melt or hoar frost layers (cloudy bands), which is one of the variables used for annual layer determinations. Therefore the uniformitarian scientists are claiming as annual variations oscillations that occur within the year.
The variables used to determine annual layers can be produced many times during a year in the creationist model. Very short term oscillations representing as little as a day or two show up in the variables (Grootes and Stuiver, 1997). A storm has a warm and cold sector with different measurements of the variables. These storm oscillations may be on the order of several days. These storms can produce problems in annual counting, even in the uniformitarian paradigm, as Alley et al. (1997, p. 26,378) state:
“Fundamentally, in counting any annual marker, we must ask whether it is absolutely unequivocal, or whether nonannual events could mimic or obscure a year. For the visible strata (and, we believe, for any other annual indicator at accumulation rates representative of central Greenland), it is almost certain that variability exists at the subseasonal or storm level, at the annual level, and for various longer periodicities (2-year, sunspot, etc.). We certainly must entertain the possibility of misidentifying the deposit of a large storm or a snow dune as an entire year or missing a weak indication of a summer and thus picking a 2-year interval as 1 year.”
The uniformitarian scientists do not believe these subannual cycles exist because of their assumed great compression of the ice sheet based on their old-Earth time scale. This is how they manage to ‘squeak out’ 110,000 years." CMI
