"COP28, the annual global UN Climate Conference taking place November 30 – December 12, has brought together heads of state and government officials, UN agencies, corporations, civil society, and religious organizations to negotiate and coordinate global climate action. Hosted by the United Arab Emirates, this year’s conference took place amidst a growing urgency and commitment to take

immediate action.

At COP28, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) has called on global leaders to take more ambitious action, especially in helping “marginalized groups” that have been “hard hit by climate change.” 

In addition, ADRA is calling for “emissions reductions” and “political discussions” in order to come up with “climate protection measures.” In case that wasn’t enough, ADRA is also advocating for the adoption of “One Health,” a comprehensive strategy for combating climate change that takes into account the well-being of humans, animals, and the earth. Furthermore, ADRA is “pushing for a funding mechanism that reflects the importance of these interactions.”

ADRA is not operating in isolation in its partnerships with the United Nations and other global organizations. ADRA is engaging in the global climate fight with input and feedback from the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church. In a recent official statement regarding COP28, ADRA stated precisely this:

“In the theater of our world’s history, 2023 emerges as a pivotal act in the climate action narrative. The impending Global Stocktake is poised to affirm what we already understand: The time for decisive action is rapidly dwindling.”

A remarkable phenomenon is occurring today in Adventism. 

Under the leadership of Pope Francis, all the churches, economists, environmentalists, policymakers, and governments are working together to heal the earth, even as sin and anarchy are increasing at an alarming rate in society. More churches are adding their names to the new religious crusade against climate change. The religion of ecology is replacing the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14:6–12, as many Seventh-day Adventists are moving from saving souls to saving the soil.

Once again, we are witnessing the desecration of our faith as a growing number of Seventh-day Adventists abandon their belief in Revelation 13, 17, and 18 and instead refocus their evangelism on addressing the climate agenda through Catholic social teachings and secular ideologies.

Politicians have infiltrated the church and are teaching their message about sustainability to our people, which is quite astonishing. 

Environmentalism has emerged as the world’s new global religion, and the head of this endeavor is Pope Francis.

“Satan determines to unite them in one body, and thus strengthen his cause by sweeping all into the ranks of Spiritualism. Papists, who boast of miracles as a certain sign of the true church, will be readily deceived by this wonder-working power; and Protestants, having cast away the shield of truth, will also be deluded. Papists, Protestants, and worldlings will alike accept the form of godliness without the power, and they will see in this union a grand movement for the conversion of the world, and the ushering in of the long-expected millennium.” (Great Controversy, p. 588). ---If world leaders actually believed in global warming, they would've not flown private jets to the desert.

It should come as no surprise that this is exactly what is taking place. On October 11, 2023, Pope Francis met with Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, the President of the United Nations Climate Summit (COP28). Al-Jaber also represents the United Arab Emirates as their Special Envoy on Climate Change. He met with the Pope to demonstrate his support for Laudate Deum’s worldwide call for action on the climate crisis.

Sultan Al Jaber: “The COP28 Presidency has developed its Action Agenda with four key pillars: Fast-tracking a just and orderly energy transition, fixing climate finance, focusing on people, nature, lives and livelihoods, and underpinning everything with full inclusivity. It is time to unite the world and act together to deliver actionable solutions to the climate crisis.”

In the book of Revelation, a power is presented that is cunning and

will play a role in imposing itself in the affairs of the nations. This beast will forge alliances with politicians, economists, bankers, and business leaders. It will also unite politics and religions and bring the churches under her control. Indeed, God’s word makes it abundantly clear that during these last days, this same power will be plotting to rule the world:
“And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Revelation 13:7.

"Pope Francis has just urged Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed,

president of the United Arab Emirates and the “most powerful Muslim ruler,” according to the New York Times, to meet with Presidents Putin and Zelensky, to end the conflict in Ukraine and advance world peace. 

This Vatican-sponsored peace initiative is expected to take place at COP28, the United Nations’ international climate conference, which will run between November 30 and December 12, 2023.

Francis is the first Pope in history to visit the Arabian Peninsula, and it was during his historic 2019 visit that he signed the “Document on Human Fraternity” in the UAE with Mohammad bin Zayed, the world’s most powerful Muslim leader. 

Now the Pope has called upon this same Arab Sheikh to serve Rome again and carry out its orders. The L’Orient-Le Jour reported the following amazing and prophetic news item:

“According to our information, the proposed initiative provides for

Abu Dhabi to host a conference for world peace, which will be launched by a new visit by Pope Francis to the Emirati capital, in parallel with the holding of the COP28 summit. The peace initiative was discussed with several European countries, as well as with the United States,” says a European diplomat. U.S. President Joe Biden became aware of it and welcomed it, saying he was ready to provide all the help necessary to achieve his objectives.”

Papal Notes - Pope Challenges 1st Commandment

"During a July 3, 2023, interview with Al-Ittihad, an Arabic-language newspaper published in the United Arab Emirates, Pope Francis affirmed that the existence of all the different faiths in our world is part of the will of God. 

During the interview, Pope Francis was asked about the Abrahamic House, human fraternity, and the coexistence of religions, to which he responded in part:

• “Regarding the Abrahamic House, I consider it a place of respect

for the diversity that God willed.”

• “The Abrahamic House – consisting of three places of worship: a church dedicated to St. Francis, a mosque and a synagogue – was born to fulfill the principle of human fraternity.” 

• “The Abrahamic House is a place for respecting diversity, which God willed, and not turning difference into contempt or a cause for conflict.”

According to Pope Francis, the diversity of religions was God’s will, which means that our Heavenly Father commanded that false beliefs exist and be embraced.

These are concerning statements that suggest that God actively

willed into existence the diversity of religions. These statements contradict the very theme of the entire Bible, both the Old and New Testaments. 

Q: Why did God give a 10 Commandment moral law that forbids the worship of other gods if it was His will that these gods be worshiped?"

"Global banks are aligning themselves with the new economy, which

will acknowledge Sunday as a global day of rest. In the United Arab Emirates, JP Morgan Chase, Citibank and other large financial institutions are transitioning to a Monday through Friday work week, rather than the present Sunday through Thursday schedule. Citibank, on the other hand, has gone a step farther by keeping its doors open every day except Sunday. Citibank has taken the following decision, according to an internal memo which says:

“Citibank branches in the Sunni Muslim-ruled country will be open Monday through Saturday and remain closed on Sunday.” 

This is a significant shift for a Muslim country in which a major international bank will be open every day except Sunday. Pope Francis is the architect of this global plan to change the world by establishing a universal day of rest. He has been exerting pressure on our worldwide financial institutions for years to enact major economic changes that are in accordance with Vatican policies that call for work-free Sunday rest. 

We are reminded through inspiration of how the Sunday law movement will operate:

“The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 452).

What we are witnessing in the United Arab Emirates is far more than simply avoiding work on Sundays. 

This is another subtle step to prepare the globe for a uniform day of worship during the mark of the beast crisis." AdvemtMessenger
