IN the NEWS - CNN's Acosta pushes Techno-Spiritualism

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ecclesiastes 9:5

"Here is a channel regarded as sacred, through which Satan works for the accomplishment of his purposes. The fallen angels who do his bidding appear as messengers from the spirit world. While professing to bring the living into communication with the dead, the prince of evil exercises his bewitching influence upon their minds” (Great Controversy, p. 551).

"Artificial intelligence (AI) now possesses the capability to simulate various aspects of human behavior, including imitating individuals—both living and deceased.

On August 5, 2025, Variety Magazine published the following:
Jim Acosta, the former CNN chief White House correspondent who now hosts an independent show on YouTube, has published an
interview with an AI-generated avatar of Joaquin Oliver, who died at age 17 in the Parkland school shooting in 2018
.”

Acosta asked AI Oliver about his solution for gun violence, to which the avatar responded: ‘I believe in a mix of stronger gun control laws, mental health support and community engagement. We need to create safe spaces for conversations and connections, making sure everyone feels seen and heard. It’s about building a culture of kindness and understanding.”
The avatar added, ‘Though my life was cut short, I want to keep inspiring others to connect and advocate for change.”
Acosta then asked AI Oliver about his personal life, such as his favorite sport and favorite basketball team. The two discussed the movie ‘Remember the Titans’ and their favorite ‘Star Wars’ moments.
After a five-minute chat with the AI, Acosta then connected with Oliver’s father, Manuel Oliver. ‘I’m kind of speechless as to the technology there,’ Acosta said. ‘It was so insightful. I really felt like I was speaking with Joaquin. It’s just a beautiful thing.”

Techniques like deep learning are continually pushing the boundaries of reality in AI-driven simulations. By engaging with such simulations, people are legitimizing the false idea that the dead can think, speak, or interact with the living, which directly contradicts Scripture.
More dangerously, this artificial resurrection of the dead opens a spiritual gateway for demonic forces."

Techno - Spiritualism: Modern Wizards to "peep" to

They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust. Job 17:16

"The dangers of AI autonomy and the quest for ‘digital immortality’ are akin to mankind’s rebellion against our Creator.....

The integration of cloud computing and AI-driven technologies has
the potential to revolutionize the way we perceive and interact with the concept of immortality.

The concept of AI-powered digital avatars has emerged as a potential means of extending a person's legacy and presence beyond their physical death.
Companies such as HereAfter AI and Eternime are working on developing AI-driven afterlife services that aim to create personalized digital representations of deceased individuals.
These AI avatars are designed to engage in meaningful interactions with loved ones, providing emotional support and a sense of continued connection with the departed.

Looking to machines to sustain immortality, and the simultaneous rise of deceptively rogue robots rebelling against their inventors’ commands should cause us to reflect:
Q: Is this a prophetic mirror of the risks from the human condition of disobedience to our own Creator?

The quest for immortality has captivated humanity for millennia,
from religious beliefs to scientific advancements. Today, technology is redefining the concept of eternal existence through the emergence of
AI cloud consciousness. The human desire to transcend mortality has been a driving force throughout history and across diverse cultures. However, the rapid advancement of technology is now reshaping this age-old quest, giving rise to the concept of AI cloud consciousness as a new frontier of eternal existence.

The key components of AI cloud consciousness include neural uploads, digital twins, and consciousness simulation, all enabled by the power of cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Central to the concept of AI cloud consciousness is the idea of transferring human cognition, thoughts, memories, and personality into a digital medium, allowing individuals to exist in a virtual form long after their physical death.

The science behind mind uploading, the ethical and philosophical dilemmas surrounding digital immortality, and the role of cloud computing and blockchain technology in preserving a person's digital legacy are crucial in understanding the emerging concept of AI cloud consciousness as the new frontier of immortality.

The fundamental question of whether an AI system can truly "be" a
person, in the same way as a biological human, lies at the heart of the philosophical and ethical debates surrounding
digital immortality. Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and their role in replicating thought patterns. The complexity of the human brain, with its trillions of neural connections and diverse patterns of activity, poses a formidable obstacle in accurately replicating and simulating consciousness within a digital environment.

BCI provide a crucial link in the process of transferring human consciousness into a digital medium, enabling the translation of neural signals into digital commands. However, the challenges in fully capturing and replicating the nuances of human cognition, emotions, and subjective experiences within an AI system remain significant.

The future of
digital immortality holds the potential to reshape our understanding of identity, consciousness, and the human condition, as we grapple with the ethical and philosophical implications of AI-powered digital avatars and the ability to transcend the boundaries of biological mortality.

The potential for misuse, such as the creation of deepfakes or the manipulation of digital data, further complicates the ethical landscape.
As the quest for eternal existence continues, the integration of cutting-edge technologies like cloud computing, blockchain, and artificial intelligence will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital afterlife."
CEH/International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer and Communication Engineering

"Satan beguiles men now as he beguiled Eve in Eden by flattery, by kindling a desire to obtain forbidden knowledge, by exciting ambition for self-exaltation. ....spiritualism presents itself under a less subtle disguise than to the more refined and intellectual; in its grosser forms they find that which is in harmony with their
inclinations.

There are few who have any just conception of the deceptive power of spiritualism and the danger of coming under its influence.
Says the prophet Isaiah: “When they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:19, 20. Many will be confronted by the spirits of devils personating beloved relatives or friends and declaring the most dangerous heresies.

IN the NEWS - Artificial Intelligence Seances For The Dead

For the living know that they shall die:
but the dead know not any thing...
Ecclesiastes 9:5

"A company called Seance AI is doing just that – using AI to bring users their loved ones back via a seance-centered experience. Harnessing the power of technology, the lab called AE Studio will give those dealing with crushing grief a space for closure through a psychic......the AI-helmed seance will see a connection between the mourner and a digital psychic who will briefly communicate with the deceased. Essentially it’s an online Ouija board that will help those who want to get their last words across to the afterlife."

....a “
virtual-immortality chatbot,” with which—with whom?—you could text back and forth
Call it UndeadGPT....the townspeople ought to have a say in what goes down in Dr. Frankenstein’s basement.
If a digital facsimile of your lost loved one is talking to you, are they truly present?
Is it closer to a home movie, or is it constantly becoming in a way we’d recognize as human?
**It may even spawn a new concept: the right to remain dead."

IN the NEWS - Potential for CREEPY Techno-Spiritualism

[see our other posts on Techno-Spiritualism on this blog]
Q: What could Amazon, or anyone else, use this CREEPY device for? Possible Techno-Spiritualism? The "dead" talking to you and being manipulated to say what someone wants....imagine it in the wrong hands...
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing...
Eccl. 9:5

"Tech giant Amazon has revealed an insanely creepy experimental feature for its AI assistant Alexa that allows it to mimic the voices of its users’ dead relatives.
The Verge reports that Amazon has revealed an experimental feature for its Alexa smart speaker AI assistant that allows the device to mimic the voices of users’ dead relatives. The company displayed this new feature at its annual MARS conference, demoing it by showing a video of a child asking Alexa to read its bedtime story in the voice of a dead grandmother. Rohit Prasad, Amazon’s head scientist for Alexa AI, commented: “As you saw in this experience, instead of Alexa’s voice reading the book, it’s the kid’s grandma’s voice.”
With Amazon’s devices constantly listening in on users and the convenience of recording a voice note, it could mean that the average consumer could easily clone the voice of a family member.
Breitbart News has previously reported on the growing popularity of “audio deepfakes” mimicking users voices — usually with their consent and not after they’ve died. Most recently, one of these audio deepfakes was used to recreate the voice of Val Kilmer for the new film Top Gun: Maverick after the actor lost his voice due to complications with throat cancer."
