Creation Moment 5/5/2025 - Evolution is Hegelian process-metaphysics

"Sigmund Freud famously postulated the “unconscious mind” to explain the fact that so many of us (how do we even speak of it now without using his language?) are not conscious of the drives and motivations that lie hidden deep within us, and that our outer rational life is the mere tip of an iceberg emerging above the tumultuous sea of conscious existence.
The word “unconscious” (in German unbewusst) was arguably coined by German idealist philosopher Friedrich Schelling (1775-1854), whose book System of Transcendental Idealism played a transformative role in my graduate work at the University of CA, Irvine. Freud’s solution presented a metaphysical picture of consciousness as a submerged mountain progressively surging upward to burst through the surface of the sea into the sunlight of rational conscious human life.

Freud postulated that this sunlit consciousness was “unconscious” of both its origins and its ascent from the muck of the seabed – that the conscious mind “suppressed” these dark and dirty origins and processes from entering the sunlit conscious mind. This is why Freud’s theory is called depth psychology.

The problem?
Q: How can the conscious mind suppress that of which it is unconscious? In order to “censor” the unconscious content, it must first be conscious of the content-to-be-censored, resulting in a contradiction – a conscious unconscious, or as logicians would state it: A and not-A.

The solution?
Consciousness must be an emergent phenomenon that begins in the muck of the seafloor and ascends to progressively higher levels until it rises above the waves into the sunlight, now complex and highly ordered, but (really) nothing other than the seafloor muck that has endured the “natural” and necessary process that compels its ascent. In a word, the unconscious becomes conscious, ascending the ladder to ever-higher consciousness, while at the same time being the same thing as the muck from which it sprung. Consciousness is nothing but the process itself of becoming conscious.

Sound familiar?
It should, as this is the alternative logic – one might fairly call it an
anti-logic – of 18th century philosopher
G.W.F. Hegel (1770-1831). This “logic” pervades the modern mind and soul (Ezekiel 14). It is the essence of Marxism, socialism, Freudian theory, Darwinism, postmodernism, Wokism, the advance of atheism and a host of other modern maladies that are systematically dismantling the scientific, moral and cultural achievements of the Western world nourished and enabled by Christianity.

Q: What has all this got to do with the concept of evolving evolvability?
Everything.
Hegel’s philosophical system is built on the denial of a fundamental law of (Aristotelian) logic – the law of non-contradiction. In natural language this states that it cannot be the case that both a proposition and its negation are true.

In logical notation: ~[A and ~A].
In other words, Hegel’s dialectical logic embraces contradiction – that which Aristotelian logic forbids. In practice this embrace means that contradiction is simply a part of (or, using Hegel’s terminology, “a moment in”) the process that is logic. Hegel’s logic embraces contradiction as the engine of progressive development.

For Hegel, “all that exists is logical, and all that is logical exists.”

This is process-metaphysics.
Like Einstein’s E=MC2, what is is reducible to a single fundamental “thing” (philosophers call this “monism”) from which all else is compounded: in Einstein’s case the fundamental underlying substance is energy; in Hegel, it is the progressive process of logic.

What is also evident, however, to any thinking being (and Hegel was a stunningly brilliant thinker) is that logic – the process of thought – is inextricably anchored in mind. If mind did not underlay reality, it could not emerge from it. Like the scientific law of biogenesis – life can only come from life, so consciousness can only emerge from consciousness. Hegel’s logic (here, anyway) is impeccable: if consciousness is to emerge, then at some level it must be the very substance from which everything emerges.

For Hegel, as we saw analogously with Freud, there is an ever-ascending logic to reality, a process of becoming conscious. For Hegel, though, there is no independent material “muck,” just the initial (contradictory) conjunction of an unconscious consciousness. From this, all else will emerge. Hegel calls this fundamental “substance” of reality, appropriately, “Spirit.” Because it begins as an unconscious-consciousness it possesses, in ever-increasing clarity, a goal-directedness – it is the process of becoming conscious.

Now to seal the deal.
Marx and Darwin (and their acolytes) are Hegelian metaphysicians – ALL is process, and process is all – but neither wanted Hegel’s mystical notion of Spirit
Q: How can a scientific materialistic monist accept that?
Easy!”, says Marx (he learned so well from Darwin!) “Turn Hegel upside down,” substituting materialism for Hegel’s idealism (non-material) – Spirit
This is why Marx’s theory is called “dialectical materialism” – it is Hegel’s dialectical logic applied to metaphysically material monism. Darwin and Marx presuppose (on faith) an ever-ascending process of reality, an EVOLUTIONARY PROCESS, substituting materialism for Hegel’s Spirit, denying the fundamental reality of consciousness. As with Freud, consciousness is derivative, emergent from something else.

Here’s the rub.
The substitution comes at a high price: cognitive and evidentiary dissonance.
---The material is by itself neither life nor logic, but both life and logic are a part of the world in and with which science operates – without them science, knowledge, rational consciousness itself, are inconceivable.

In Him we live, move, and have our being” said Paul to the Athenians in Acts 17:28. We would all do better to place our faith and confidence in Him than in thisscience falsely so-called.”

Creation Moment 12/11/2024 - The Darwin Letters

"Karl Marx (1818–1883), the founder of communism, called religion (meaning Christianity) “the opium of the people”. He was enthusiastic that Darwin’s evolutionary theory (Origin of Species, 1859) provided a completely materialistic explanation of living things. Marx even sent a copy of Volume 1 of his book Das Kapital 2 (published in German in 1867) to Darwin with the handwritten inscription:

"Mr Charles Darwin On the part of his sincere admirer Karl Marx London 16 June 1873 Modena Villas Maitland."

Darwin is unlikely to have read it, however. Apart from being in German, only the first 100 pages had been ‘opened’.

Letter 1—the Marx-dedication myth
It has long been thought that at a later date, Marx wrote to Darwin offering to dedicate one of the later volumes of his book to him. This is because a letter from Darwin, dated 14 October 1880, was found in Marx’s archives, and in it Darwin declines the offer of a book dedication.
--However, Darwin’s letter doesn’t mention either Marx or the book’s title, and no letter from Marx offering this has ever been found. Also, in declining, Darwin stated that he believed that:
"direct arguments against christianity & theism produce hardly any effect on the public; & freedom of thought is best promoted by the gradual illumination of men’s minds, which follows from the advance of science."
But if he had had Marx’s then-forthcoming book in mind, it had no such direct arguments.
It turns out that Darwin’s letter was very likely not written to Marx, but to Edward Aveling (1849–1898), a prominent English biology instructor and spokesman for evolution, atheism, and socialism. It could have readily become mixed up with Marx’s papers, since Aveling, who became the partner of Marx’s daughter Eleanor in 1884, was custodian of Marx’s archives.
A letter from Aveling to Darwin has been found, in which Aveling offers to dedicate his own forthcoming book The Student’s Darwin (Freethought Publishing, 1881) to Darwin. The book included arguments against Christianity and theism.
Darwin’s motivation:
The wording of Darwin’s letter suggests that
--he was not opposed to arguing against Christianity,
--but to the tactic of confronting it directly.
He would have been well aware that evolution is incompatible with the Genesis record. The idea of millions of years of suffering, disease, and death, long before people, denies the whole idea of a ‘very good’ (Genesis 1:31) world that was ruined through the sin of the first man. It thus logically undermines the basis of the Christian Gospel that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins on the Cross and rose from the grave.

Letter 2—Darwin makes it plain
Another letter from Darwin bluntly underscores his rejection of the Gospel and of ‘Christian evolution’. Less than two years before Darwin’s death, a young Christian barrister, Frederick McDermott, wrote to Darwin, asking him about his belief in the New Testament, as follows:
"If I am to have pleasure in reading your books I must feel that at the end I shall not have lost my faith in the New Testament. My reason in writing to you therefore is to ask you to give me a Yes or No to the question Do you believe in the New Testament. … but without that assurance I fear my brain is not fine enough to argue out doubts which might be suggested by your works, … but if I can say that the author of these doctrines believes as I do that Christ was the Son of God, I can say that it is only in matters of detail that Mr Darwin differs from Charles Kingsley [a clergyman and theistic evolutionist] and I may read with full pleasure of all the wonders of nature which he has collected.
Darwin’s reply was short and to the point:
"Dear Sir, I am sorry to have to inform you that I do not believe in the Bible as a divine revelation, & therefore not in Jesus Christ as the son of God.
Yours faithfully
Ch. Darwin."
This letter was kept confidential for over 100 years, and then on 21 September 2015 it was auctioned at Bonhams of New York for the astonishing sum of US $197,000."

IN the NEWS - Ripped from America's Headlines [Why Big Government / Marxsim Opposed Christianity Case Study]

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
John 15:18

A Case Study from Current Events in America as to why Marxism Opposed to religion and Big Government Liberal types are hostile towards Religion.
Because IF one holds a higher allegiance to some "god" than the state--well you would obviously oppose the State at certain times.....

"What would happen to a Christian group or ministry that can’t have
Christian leaders or employ Christians? Well, it would very quickly cease to be Christian! And that’s what will happen to Christian groups on college campuses if the
US Department of Education does indeed do what it’s trying to do—“rescind regulations which protect religious organizations on public college and university campuses.” What the US Department of Education is trying to do is roll back protections that allow Christian (and other religious) groups on campuses to require their leaders to agree with their statement of faith. Of course, we all know this has to do with LGBTQ and abortion issues.
And of course we know the secular groups won’t have their leaders be born-again Christians." AIG

SDA Issues: 1844 and the Great Reset

.....ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
Matthew 16:3

"Dr. James Lindsay, ....At about the 8 minute mark of the lecture, Lindsay said this:
You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy was on a video
from 2016, but that was not an idea that was expressed for the first time in 2016.  Let me tell you something that was written in 1844.  In 1844, a young 25 year-old goober by the name of Karl Marx, was writing what is now known as “The Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts,” sometimes called the “Paris Manuscripts”  . . .
In these manuscripts what Karl Marx did—this is four years before he wrote “The Communist Manifesto” and 23 years before “Capital” [Das Kapital], this was his early writings--and what he designed in those pages was nothing short of a religion.  The name of the religion can be called communism or it can be called Marxism.  And what he describes throughout those pages is what that religion entails.
But at one point, page roughly 103 in the copy I have, if I remember right, he writes that communism is the positive transcendence of private property.  You will own nothing, and you’ll be happy.  It is not just relinquishing private property—that’s crude communism.  True communism is the positive transcendence of private property. You don’t need private property You will own nothing and you’ll be happy.
And what he says that is equal to is the transcendence of human self-estrangement, which is how you know it is a religion. Humans are estranged from one another in the same way that humans after the Fall are estranged from God.  And we’re going to undo it.  We’re going to make our way back into the Garden of Eden on our own terms
That’s what Karl Marx was writing about; that is the Marxian religion.  And we’re going to have the positive
transcendence of private property as the mark that we have arrived.  That is the goal. At which point, Karl says, we will remember that we are truly social, our human nature is that we are a truly social species-being, a truly social animal. Communist, is what he means. Communism, he says at the end of the same paragraph, is the riddle of history solved, and it knows itself to be the solution.
You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy is the 2016 update of an 1844 sentence by Karl Marx, or paragraph, if you want.
So when you realize that the “Great Reset” is a comma in a communist revolution, or communist religion, you realize that what we’re going for is some kind of updated communism.
And we’ve tried these things and they don’t work.  And they’re not going to work.  Every attempt so far in the world to introduce communism has killed people by at least the hundreds of thousands, depending on the country, often the millions, sometimes the tens of millions, so that its victims over just the 20th Century alone probably number just over 100 million people who didn’t need to die.  .
So the people perpetrating the Great Reset understand this mentality; they will use people and then discard them.  We’ve seen hundreds of millions die in the twentieth century, I believe it will be billions, with a “b” and an “s” on the end of it, if this is allowed to proceed through the next, say, 30 years. And we’re at the exclamation point part of that.  We’re coming to the point where this has to be stopped.”
To me, it is very striking when someone who is not an Adventist or even a Christian (James Lindsay is reportedly an atheist), and couldn’t possibly know much about the Adventist religion, starts
talking about 1844 and “early writings.”  I interpret a coincidence like that as God trying to get my attention, and He got it.
What Dr. Lindsay is telling us is that Karl Marx had formulated the basic principles of his new religion in 1844, years before “The Communist Manifesto” and “Das Kapital” were published.....despite the Soviet capitulation in 1989, it is now far stronger and more influential than it has ever been, in the form of the radical environmentalism (“The Green New Deal”), Cultural Marxism, critical theory, and race and gender ideology

First Darwinism and now Marxism have taken over most significant Western institutions, beginning with academia.
From there, these ideas have spread all throughout the culture and society, including into the Christian Church." David Read/Fukcrum7

BTW, It's NOT that the Great Reset is the Mark of the Beast, but rather powers at play that are Greasing The Skids for the Beast Entity....

Papal Notes - So Francis IS a Marxist after all.....

Thou shalt not steal.....Thou shalt not covet....
Exodus 20:15,17

"Speaking to a delegation of the Agenzie delle Entrate at the
Vatican's Clementine Hall Monday, Francis said he was expounding on "some teachings of the gospel" on taxation, since "in the Bible, there is no lack of references to the theme of taxes."

"In this regard, the practice of paying tithes is little known but very interesting," the pope noted, "in which a tenth of a person's revenue is given to the king, as Abraham did after he received a blessing from the priest-king Melchizedek."

Francis explained that "the Old Testament, while maintaining this practice, gives it another meaning" and assigns the tithe to the Levitical priests. Tithing thus serves to cancel notions of self-sufficiency and helps create responsibility for the other, "starting with those most in need."

Interpreting taxation as "a sign of legality and justice," Francis insisted that a fair tax system "must favor the redistribution of wealth" as a "function of the common good," as taught in the Church's social doctrine (which it inherits from Scripture and from the Church Fathers).

Railing against "a society that focuses on private property as an

absolute and fails to subordinate it to the style of communion and sharing for the good of all," the pontiff lamented the attitude of ingratitude towards the taxman.

Ethicists, economists and biblical scholars — many of whom have questioned the pope's posturing on economics — noted with concern Francis' imposition of a Marxist hermeneutic on Scripture....."Tithing was a flat 'tax' mandatory for all Israelites. This is, ironically, the opposite of Francis' idea of secular taxation on the rich for the so-called common good," a Rome-based Biblical scholar told Church Militant, lamenting the pope's "disingenuous reading of Scripture....."Private property is enshrined as a fundamental good and a right for the children of Israel as they prepare to occupy the Promised Land," observed Blomberg.  He noted that "numerous laws guard against theft of possessions, implying that there is private ownership of them."

"No role for the political authorities is evident. Christ's followers never appear to have attempted to forcibly redistribute the assets of fellow believers, let alone of non-Christians," writes Doug Bandow."

Creation Moment 9/13/2021 - How Long To Read The Names Slaughtered in the Name of Darwinism?

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.
3 John 1:11

"World Net Daily reported that the body count from Mao’s reign of terror in China has been revised upward to 77 million by R. J. Rummel, a Nobel Peace Prize winning political scientist.
This augments Mao’s Guinness reputation as the worst mass murderer in history

His intentional killings, including policies that intentionally starved
tens of millions of Chinese people, exceeded those of Hitler and Stalin. Deaths attributed to Mao’s democide (death by government) amount to over twice the total combat deaths in all wars between 1900 to 1987, including World Wars I and II.  Of 174 million killed in 20th-century incidents of democide, 148 million fell victim to Marxist regimes – four times the deaths by combat, estimated at 34.1 million.

Rummel, who has chronicled 20th century democides, said, “I’m now convinced that Stalin exceeded Hitler in monstrous evil, and Mao beat out Stalin.”
All three dictators were committed to scientific materialism congruent with the Darwinian principles of struggle for existence and survival of the fittest

Mao listed two of his favorite authors as Darwin and Huxley. In a
quote attributed to the Chinese communist leader on Coral Ridge Ministries, Chairman Mao said, Chinese socialism is founded upon Darwin and the theory of evolution.”
Stalin became an atheist after reading Darwin, and Hitler based Mein Kampf on Darwinian principles of struggle and fitness.

Such ideas had become very popular among leading German thinkers in the decades after Darwin’s Origin, as documented in historian Richard Weikart’s book, From Darwin to Hitler (Palgrave Macmillan, 2004).

Visualize how long it would take to read the names of 77 million people. At one every five seconds, day and night, it would take over 12 years just to read their names, without even knowing who they were or the nature of their hopes and dreams – dreams that were strangled in prison, brutal work camps, torture or policy-induced famines. Add another 12 years for those killed under all the other communist leaders, and 3 years 4 months for Nazi deaths – a total of almost 28 years of reading name, after name, after name, day and night.

This is a stern reminder why the debate over creation vs. evolution matters.
Ideas have consequences." CEH

Creation Moment 11/18/2020 - Official State Ideology

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Romans 8:7

"The Marxist classics considered Darwin's theory of the materialist
explanation of biological evolution and praised it to the skies... Major pronouncements on Darwinism had been given by... leading party figures... Most importantly, evolutionary doctrine was taught as a part of the official state ideology, dialectical materialism."

Darwin, Marx, Freud - NOTHING NEW

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be;
and that which is done is that which shall be done:
and there is no new thing under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:9

"They created their own concept of good and evil.

This dismissal of absolutes set many modern people to rebel against the Holy Scriptures.
These secular ideas soon gave birth to three new pervasively influential liberal movements that have brought catastrophic consequences to our day:

Darwinism [evolution],
Marxism [democratic socialism and revolutionary communism],
and Freudianism [the removal of sin and guilt].
Their founders, Charles Darwin [1809-1882], Karl Marx [1818-1883], and Sigmund Freud [1856-1939] all expressed contempt for Christianity.

Such men as Adolf von Harnack [1851-1930] in Germany, Alfred Loisy [1857-1940] in France, R.J. Campbell [1867-1959] in England and Walter Rauschenbusch [1861-1918] in America glorified and praised the new advances of liberal sciences while denying the truths of the Bible.
These infidels, many of whom studied theology and philosophy said that in the modern age, it was old-fashioned to take the Bible literally.

Religious Liberalism which has dominated European Protestantism since the 1890’s and American Protestantism since the 1930’s is not a “new” expression of religion, but only unbelief clothed in a modern garb and deceitfully using the language of traditional Christianity in a new sense of doubt.

The concept of evolution, which rejects the Biblical record of creation and advocates the ideal that man evolved through natural processes, was not new to Charles Darwin. Many pagan people and ancient Greeks had expressed similar ideas.

Sigmund Freud, a behavioral psychiatrist, believed that there is no such thing as sin, guilt for sin or repentance from sin because people really have no control over their own actions. He taught that every action is determined by “unconscious drives,” especially sex drives, which we have no control over.

Left-wing politics and socialism trace their origins to Karl Marx,...the chief founder of two of the most powerful liberal movements in history – democratic socialism and revolutionary communism. He very early came to despise both Judaism and Christianity, and throughout his life he exhibited a violent hatred for God and humanity.
As a student at the University of Berlin, Marx came under the spell of the liberal German philosopher G.W.F. Hegel. Marx accepted and applied Hegel’s reasoning by rejecting God’s revelation of beginning, end, and history.

The Social Gospel is the idea that the preaching of the Gospel can be better fulfilled through social activism and the promotion of societal change rather than the historical, God-appointed method of preaching Biblical doctrines.

IN the NEWS - BLM Spiritualism & Marxism

The Prince of Persia is using Race to divide the black brethren from Christ...NO CHRISTIAN SHOULD FOLLOW A MOVEMENT THAT CAN'T EMBRACE THE SLOGAN "ALL LIVES MATTER".

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour... 1 Peter 5:8

"A recorded prayer for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd played on repeat as Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors shredded sheets of paper with the words “police
and “white racism.”
In the background, a pair of wings hung against a wall as candles lit up the room. Cullors stood in the middle of the wings, shredding.
After the performance, Melina Abdullah, co-founder of Black Lives Matter-Los Angeles, joined Cullors in a discussion that touched on the role that spirituality and prayer has played in the movement.
"Part of our calling as people who do this work for Black lives is to lift our people up, both in their living, but also in their death,”
Cullors said. "The need to lift our folks up feels so incredibly spirit-driven for me."
Abdullah and Cullors touched on the practice of calling out the names of the victims that they advocate for in protests and demonstrations. It's kind of a way to invoke their spirits, Abdullah said.
It is literally almost resurrecting a spirit so they can work through us to get the work that we need to get done,” she said.
By highlighting their names, Cullors said she feels "personally connected and responsible and accountable to them, both from a
deeply political place but also from a deeply spiritual place.”
Cullors touched on West African traditions that center on remembering ancestors.
Cullors, who grew up Jehovah's Witness, said she "was always someone who almost obsessed about our (Black) ancestors."
"I wasn’t raised with honoring ancestors. ... As I got older and started to feel like I was missing something, ancestral worship became really important," she said.
The women also touched on their tradition of praying and pouring libations during demonstrations.
After each name, Abdullah poured libations on the ground as the group in return chanted "Asé." The Yoruba term is "often used by practitioners of Ifa, a faith and divination system that originated in West Africa," Farrag wrote.

Abdullah on Saturday said it took her almost a year before she realized Black Lives Matter was much more than a racial and social justice movement.
"At its core, it's a spiritual movement," she said."
