Creation Moment 3/29/2022 - This Creator

Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
James 5:11

"And God has programmed intelligence into His creation; uniquely
into human beings who are His image-bearers, but also into other creatures.

*For instance, the Clark’s Nutcracker can remember the location of many buried caches of seeds in an area of many square kilometres.

Even more extraordinarily,
we have the privilege of communicating
 with this Creator.

We do not worship a deistic god who left creation to its own devices, but a loving Father who is intimately involved with His creation, and who invites us into relationship with Himself through Christ."

Off the Throne and Into Skin

"The King of the Universe,
--who is a just judge,
saw man’s disobedience and his wrath was stirred.
--But He also saw our brokenness,
and was moved with compassion.
 So God stepped off the throne, into skin,
--lived a perfect life,
--and climbed on a cross.

And because He loves you with a love you can’t fathom or imagine, He absorbed His own wrath and your punishment." TOW

3 things God does for the Saints

1) The Saints have their Tears Wiped Away by the Hand of God.
.....and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Revelation 7:17

2) God Sings a Song to the Saints.
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;.... he will joy over thee with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

3) The Saints place of abode is IN the House of God. He has His children close to Him...--He can look out and say my children are home.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:2

What started Christ's Quest?

"The parable of the straying sheep
should be treasured as a motto in every household.

--The divine Shepherd leaves the ninety and nine, and goes out into the wilderness to seek the one that is lost.

--There are thickets, quagmires, and dangerous crevices in the rocks, and the Shepherd knows that if the sheep is in any of these places, a friendly hand must help it out.

--As He hears its bleating afar off, He encounters any and every difficulty that He may save His sheep that is lost.

--When He discovers the lost one, He does not greet it with reproaches. He is only glad that He has found it alive.

--The Sin Bearer carries the befouled sheep, yet so precious is His burden that He rejoices, singing: "I have found My sheep which was lost." Luke 15:6.

Let every one of you consider that your individual self has thus been borne upon Christ's shoulders.
Let none entertain a masterly spirit, a self-righteous, criticizing spirit; for not one sheep would ever have entered the fold if the Shepherd had not undertaken the painful search in the desert.

The fact that one sheep was lost was enough to awaken the sympathy of the Shepherd and start Him on His quest."

For This World...

"The heart of God is moved.
Souls are very precious in His sight.
It was for this world that Christ wept in agony;
for this world He was crucified.

God gave His only-begotten Son to save sinners,
and He desires us to love others as He has loved us."
Testimonies For The Church vol.6 E.G.W.
And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house,
many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples:
for there were many, and they followed him.
Mark 2:15

The 2 He is Reaching for

Hereby perceive we the love of God,
because he laid down his life for us:
1 John 3:16

"With outstretched arms He is ready to receive and
--welcome not only the sinner
--but the prodigal.

His dying love, manifested on Calvary, is the sinner's assurance of acceptance, peace, and love. Teach these things in the simplest form, that the sin-darkened soul may see the light shining from the cross of Calvary."

Tenderest Words that dripped from the pen of Ellen White

 "The Lord has presented your case before me as one who was in need of that help which God alone could give you.
---I heard words of hopelessness and despair coming from your lips.
---I heard wicked words, blasphemous words.

Said Jesus, as He looked upon you piteously, "These are not the words of the man, but the words of the spirit that has possessed him."
God will heal him. He has gone far in resisting the Spirit of God, but Jesus is drawing him by the tender cords of His love.

He has separated from God,
but God has not separated from him.

Through a train of circumstances he has lost confidence in himself, in his best friends,
and turned from light to darkness,
from truth to error,
and has been left to feel his own weakness.
You still cling to your pride;
you utter the words of Satan abiding in your heart.

Said Christ, "It is not he but a demon that speaks. I will save him if he will trust in me as a little child trusts in his father, his mother."

 In His presence, standing under the shadow of the cross,
His mercy,
His love,
His forgiveness,
cover the blackest stains of sin.

The Lord has made provision for your simple necessities.

---When the Israelites were bitten by the fiery poisonous serpents whose sting was certain death, the brazen serpent was lifted up on a pole, and Jesus, enshrouded in the cloudy pillar, bade Moses tell them, "Look and live."
---The same Jesus has bidden me tell you, Look and live. Do not climb the pole, but only look. I present Christ to you. Look and live. There is hope, comfort, and peace for you. There is even joy in the Holy Ghost for you. Now I bid you in the name of Jesus, Look and live.

You may say, "Oh, I am a great sinner." I admit it; Jesus is well acquainted with all this, and He says, "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" [Mark 2:17]. He has paid the ransom money for your soul...Will you allow Satan to triumph? He has unbalanced your mind, so that you are not able to reason calmly and sensibly.

 Lay your sin on Jesus; leave it to Him;
then do what He tells you to do, as a little child,
irrespective of consequences.

Shall Christ have died for you in vain?
You are unconsciously groping after the heavenly light.
Satan shall not conquer; he shall be expelled through prayer and faith.

Satan would have your soul;
shall he have it?
Say, No, never;
it is Christ's property.
Satan says, "Curse God and die." Will you do it?

 Say not, "There is no hope for me." Satan triumphs every time you say it.
Let these thoughts be in your heart, "Thou, O Lord, hast created me for Thyself." He has permitted you to live that you might become acquainted with Jesus and be willing to follow Him."
--Letter 85, 1891-Written to J. A. Starr, Sept. 22, 1891 E.G.W.
