"Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God.
They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.
In the Bible, this designation carries moral rather than intellectual meaning.
It would certainly be a fool who would say there is no God.
Psalm 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, [and] seek God.
One looks for what one wishes to find; and God does not desire to find evil. There is enough of evil; but God is certain to find all the good there is.
Q: What are you looking for?
Psalm 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are [all] together become filthy: [there is] none that doeth good, no, not one.
From truth into error, and from duty into sin; from the paths of wisdom and righteousness. They are altogether become filthy, loathsome, and abominable before God.
Psalm 14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD."
