The celebration of Purim takes place 2 days out of the year for Jews. On it,
they attend an evening then a morning reading of the whole book of Esther. They
then give gifts to the poor and exchange food parcels with each other. The
holiday of Purim is to commemorate their deliverance from extermination at the
hands of Haman during the time of Queen Esther.
And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim; and it was written in the book.
