"A California state Senate committee on Thursday banned the words “he” and “she” during hearings.

  It shows how far the politically-correct mob is willing to go in terms of policing language.

 

The first order of business at last Thursday's hearing was to approve the new committee rules, during which the Democrat senator said the 'gender neutral' designation 'they' would be replacing the traditional pronouns of 'he' or 'she'.

Democratic state Senate Judiciary Chair Hannah-Beth Jackson spoke about the change on Thursday, which affects her committee, and said it’s a matter of gender.

“We are now a state recognizing the nonbinary

designation as a gender,” Jackson said. “We are using the phrase ‘they’ and replacing other designations so that it’s a gender-neutral designation of ‘they.’ Basically, that’s the primary reforms and revisions to the committee rules.”

Jackson was a victim of her own rules, however, when she referred to her old grammar teacher as a “her” instead of “them.”

She was cut off mid-sentence from several people in the audience who corrected her and insisted she use the words “them” or “they.”  She quickly corrected herself.

 At the start of the year, California introduced a third 'X' gender category on state identification cards and driver's licenses.  The 'X' marker can be used by California state residents who do not identify as male or female."

"A research team led by Florida State University scientists has demonstrated that there are specific points along the DNA molecule that control replication. The study appears in the journal Cell.

DNA and its associated material replicate at regular intervals, a process essential to all living organisms. This contributes to everything from how the body responds to disease to hair color.

“It’s been quite a mystery. Replication seemed resilient to everything we tried to do to perturb it,” said study senior author Professor David Gilbert.

Gilbert and colleagues examined a single segment of the DNA in the highest possible 3D resolution and saw three sequences along the DNA molecule touching each other frequently.
They then used a gene editing technology called CRISPR to remove these three areas simultaneously.
And with that, they found that these three elements together were the key to DNA replication.
“Removing these elements shifted the segment’s replication time from the very beginning to the very end of the process,” Gilbert said.

 The removal of the three elements caused the 3D structure of the DNA molecule to change dramatically.
“We have for the first time pinpointed specific DNA sequences in the genome that regulate chromatin structure and replication timing,” said study first author Jiao Sima."

"A doctor has been formally reprimanded by the Dutch medical complaints board for carrying out euthanasia on a 74-year-old woman with dementia, despite her resistance.

The woman refused a cup of coffee containing a sedative and when she struggled, the doctor asked her husband and daughter to hold her down so she could insert a drip containing the lethal injection.

The case is the first time since the Dutch euthanasia law was passed in 2002 that a practitioner has been formally censured. 
Dutch prosecutors are investigating five other cases of euthanasia suspected of potentially breaking the strict rules, NOS reported."

Its tiny teeth — each one measuring less than a millimeter across — were discovered in the sediment left behind when paleontologists uncovered the bones of ‘Sue,’ currently the most complete T. rex specimen ever described.
“It amazes me that we can find microscopic shark teeth sitting right beside the bones of the largest predators of all time. These teeth are the size of a sand grain. Without a microscope you’d just throw them away.” Dr. Gates added.

The Reproductive Health Act that abortion advocates have been trying to get passed for 12 years  passed with a 38-28 vote and thunderous applause in the state Senate chamber Tuesday. The bill codifies federal abortion rights guaranteed under the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision and removes abortion from the state's criminal code." CP

Cuomo called the bill an “historic victory for New Yorkers and our liberal values.”  It was passed on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that brought abortion on demand to every state.

 

In 1970, New York was the first state to legalize abortion.  Cuomo said that he was directing that the 408-foot spire on the One World Trade Center, as well as the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, the Kosciuszko Bridge, and the Alfred E. Smith Building in Albany be lit in pink to “celebrate this achievement and shine a bright light forward for the rest of the nation to follow.”

To better understand the genetic makeup and key pathways that control essential oil production, secretion, and storage, a research team led by Dr. Soheil Mahmoud of the University of British Columbia and Brock University’s Dr. Ping Liang generated the first draft genome assembly for the English lavender.

“We have studied lavender for a long time,” Dr. Mahmoud said.

PSALM 17: A Prayer of David

PSALM 17:

 Hear the right, O LORD,

attend unto my cry,

give ear unto my prayer,

 that goeth not out of feigned lips.

Psalm 17 is one of three that bear the title “A prayer of David” (also 86 and 142). It is a most appropriate heading since the psalm is rich with words for petition: “hear, attend, unto, give ear,” and so on.

After an initial cry to God (verses 1-2),
--David defends his character and motives (verses 3-5).
--On this basis, he is able to offer his petition, which includes both a beautiful prayer for divine protection (verse 8),
--and a repulsive description of his would-be captors (verses 9-12).
*The request, “Keep me as the apple of the eye” (verse 8), is a petition that God protect David just as a man protects the pupil of his eye, the most sensitive part of the most sensitive member of the body.


David approaches the divine court with 3 clusters of appeals in seeking justice.

(1)   Appeals Dealing with Response and Recognition (17:1-5).

Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; vs.2

(2)  Appeals Dealing with Rescue and Relief (17:6-12).

I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: vs.6

      A.  His Need for Rescue is Presented (17:6-8);

 O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them. vs.7

      B.   His Need for Relief is Documented (17:9-12).

 They have now compassed us in our steps: vs.11

(3) Appeals Dealing with Retribution and Rest (17:13-15).

From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, vs.14

      A.  His Anticipation of Their Retribution (17:13-14);

... deliver my soul from the wicked, ... vs.13

      B.   His Assurance of His Own Rest (17:15).

 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. vs.15

This is the first psalm simply entitled “A Prayer” .

11 Points to the Sabbath in the Times of Christ SERIES: 4

"When the ceremonial sabbaths were ordained, they were carefully distinguished from the seventh-day Sabbath, which is called the Sabbath of the Lord.
Leviticus 23 describes all of the ceremonial sabbaths:

• the Passover, “the fourteenth day of the first month” (verse 5);
• the Feast of Unleavened Bread on “the fifteenth day” (verse 6);
• “the seventh day” of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (verse 8);
• the Feast of the Firstfruits, the wave sheaf (verses 9–11).

Remember, there was a Passover, then a first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread on the fifteenth day. Then the next day (the sixteenth day), stated in verse 11, was “the day after the sabbath [when] the priest shall wave” the wave sheaf.
Let’s look at the order of events from the crucifixion of Christ until He returns:

• Christ was crucified on Friday, or Good Friday. That was Passover, the fourteenth day of the first month.
  
• The fifteenth day, which was the seventh-day Sabbath, was also a ceremonial Sabbath. That is why it was called in the gospel of John, “a high day” (John 19:31). It was the first Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the first ceremonial Sabbath.
• The sixteenth day was a Sunday, the day they were to wave the wave sheaf. The wave sheaf represented the firstfruits. Jesus Christ and those who were raised with Him were the firstfruits. 1 Corinthians 15:23 says, “… each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.” Christ rose on the exact day so that type (the foreshadow) would meet antitype (the real).
• The Feast of Weeks followed: “And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord” (Leviticus 23:15, 16). Fifty days later was Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out.
• Then came the Feast of Trumpets (verse 23), which was the first day of the seventh month to warn the people that the Day of Judgment was coming.
• The Day of Atonement was next (verses 26–33), which was the tenth day of the seventh month.
• Then the Feast of Tabernacles (verse 34) began on the fifteenth day of the seventh month.

After these ceremonial sabbaths are listed, Moses says in verses 37 and 38, “These are the feasts of the Lord which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, everything on its day—besides the Sabbaths of the Lord.”
Notice that these are ceremonial sabbaths, yearly feast days, that are in addition to the Sabbaths of the Lord, in addition to your vows and your freewill offerings. When the ceremonial sabbaths were ordained, they were carefully distinguished from the Sabbaths of the Lord."

Father Dulibber G. Gonzalez and Fr. Marcin Bradtke have reportedly been friends since before their respective ordinations. Father Gonzalez was ordained in May of 2018, and Fr. Bradtke was ordained in May of 2016.

The string of intimate selfies were allegedly taken at Fr. Bradtke's parish in May of 2018, right after Fr. Gonzalez's ordination.
Church Militant contacted both priests, their respective pastors, the Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the diocese, the Vice-Chancellor/Priest Secretary to the bishop, the Director of Clergy Personnel and Chair of the Presbyteral Council, the Judicial Vicar, and Bp. Serratelli himself. We received no response, although shortly after contacting Fr. Gonzalez, he deleted one of his two Facebook accounts.

The selfies were sent by a source to Bp. Serratelli and several members of his administrative staff on November 21, 2018, informing him that these photos would be sent to Church Militant if nothing is done. To date, Bp. Serratelli has never responded, and both Fr. Bradtke and Fr. Gonzalez remain at their assignments in good standing with the diocese.

In August 2018, Church Militant produced a special report titled "Episcopal Sodomy: Gay Seminarian Pipeline" revealing that Bp. Serratelli and Bp. Mansell of the diocese of Hartford, Connecticut were known to be bringing homosexual seminarians into the Church in the United States:

 A lobotomy, the theory postulated, could reduce undesirable ‘reptile’ behavior. In the end, as many as 35,000 persons were lobotomized, producing what neurologist Frank Vertosick called “a mental health holocaust.”
 We now know most patients replaced their reptile behavior with a sluggish, disoriented, even moribund, countenance. Some were reduced to vegetative states, and many died of cerebral hemorrhaging or other complications.
French surgeon and committed Darwinist, Paul Broca, concluded the prefrontal lobes were the part of the brain that separated humans from lower animals during evolution. Broca, fascinated by evolution and its implications for brain study, once remarked, “I would rather be a transformed ape than a degenerate son of Adam.”
The result of Broca’s insight was that mental illness researchers attempted to surgically separate the parts of the brain that they believed had recently evolved from the parts we had retained from our ancient reptile ancestors. If Broca and others involved in this history had believed the creation account that teaches the human brain was created perfect, it is unlikely that they would have concluded separating brain sections would result in a beneficial treatment."
