Creation Moment 11/23/2013 - Less than 1 in 479,000,000

Less Than 1 in 479 Million’:
Mathematician Calculates Impossibility of Contriving Creation Account
"A mathematician with a historical timeline organization has calculated that there is less than a 1 in 479 million chance that Moses, the author of Genesis, made up the Biblical creation account.
Recently, Hunter carefully analyzed the creation account in the book of Genesis and determined that, scientifically speaking, it is remarkably accurate. She explained to Christian News Network that scientific developments today confirm the Biblical order of the creation account—from the very first
light to the creation of man.
“I realized the 12 items listed in the Genesis creation account are confirmed by scientists today as being in the correct order, starting with light being separated from darkness, plants coming before animals and ending with man,” Hunter stated.
Statistically speaking, the likelihood of Moses simply guessing the sequence of all the creation events, and happening to guess them all correctly, is infinitesimal.
“Moses had less than one chance in 479 million of just correctly guessing [the sequence of the creation account],” Hunter deduced." ChristianNews

Global Flood Waters Discovered?

"Not only is the Chesapeake Bay so enormous it can be seen from space, it essentially came from outer space.
An asteroid or huge chunk of ice slammed into Earth about 35 million years ago, splashing into the
Early Cretaceous North Atlantic, sending tsunamis as far as the Blue Ridge Mountains and leaving a 56-mile-wide hole at the mouth of what is now the bay.
"What we essentially discovered was trapped water that’s twice the salinity of [modern] seawater,” said Ward Sanford, a USGS hydrologist. “In our attempt to find out the origin, we found it was Early Cretaceous seawater."
The Chesapeake Bay Impact Crater was discovered in 1999 by a tandem of USGS and Virginia Department of Environmental Quality scientists.
They theorized that a huge rock or chunk of ice slammed into an ancient ocean, sending enormous pieces of debris skyward and forcing monster tsunamis hundreds of miles inland." WashingtonPost

Or could it be-trapped global flood waters preserved? The meteors plummeted the earth helping to bust apart the crust of the earth and unleashing the great deeps....
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Genesis 7:11

Papal Notes - Pope & Green Religion meet

"Holy Environmentalism! Religious Leaders Stand Up for Mother Nature

Pope Francis and other spiritual leaders are breaking green." Screams the headline from Take Part.

"The leader of the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics made headlines this week after pictures of him holding anti-fracking T-shirt went viral. Posing next to Argentine filmmaker and eco-activist Fernando "Pino" Solanas, the pope was photographed holding one T-shirt that read “No to Fracking” and another bearing the message “Water Is More Precious Than Gold.”
The pope took his name from St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and ecology, and during his inaugural Mass described the church’s mission as “respecting each of God’s creatures, and respecting the environment in which we live.” He is also reportedly drafting a papal memo, known as a cyclical, about environmental stewardship." TakePart

"According to one report from the Pope’s meeting with activists this week, his “concern was ‘clear’ when hearing about the Chevron deal in Argentina and other environmental disputes in the region.”" ClimateProgress

1) Here we see an element of spiritual Babylon reaching out to spiritual Egypt (the world) via the GREEN Religion....{Haven't we been predicting this for awhile now on this blog?}

Creation Moment 11/22/2013 - Moon theories

"Secular scientists used to regard the planetary collision theory as a triumph in explaining several of the moon's specific arrangements. But newfound facts severely debilitate this lunar impact origins theory.
According to this new theory, an early Earth collided at a glancing angle with a planet that was one or two times the mass of Mars. Some of the debris launched into orbit around Earth and somehow collected to form the moon. This could explain the moon's peculiar orbit and
some of its other properties. But, as Bob Jones University astronomy professor Ron Samec noted, recent studies refute even this origins scenario.
For example, ratios of rare titanium forms in moon rocks were identical to those found on Earth. This implies that the supposed impacter did not contribute its material to the moon after all.

The first story—one invented by Charles Darwin's second son George—held that dense, sinking matter increased the early earth's rotation speed so fast that it threw off material from the Pacific Ocean basin. It later cooled to become the moon. Samec wrote, "The problem with this is that the initial spin or angular momentum is not conserved in the present earth-moon system."

A replacement moon origins story told how Earth's gravity somehow "captured" a large object that would become the moon as it was flying nearby. Even the secular community now agrees that this is not the answer. Samec commented, "One major problem with this idea is that capture is an extremely rare event."2 Also, such a capture would have produced a highly elliptical lunar orbit, not the nearly circular one it actually has.

A third story tells of gas condensing in eddies to form Earth and its moon. But if this were true, then "the moon's orbital plane and earth's equator should coincide." But they don't. Earth is tilted to 23.5 degrees relative to its orbital plane, and the moon's orbit is inclined only about five degrees.

And now, titanium measurements and new computer models deal the glancing-blow theory a direct hit.

But one theory still accommodates all the data. If God created the moon in a supernatural event, then that would explain its many specifications directly related to life on Earth, including its peculiar size, mass, orbit, angular momentum, composition, and density. This evidence confirms God's Word, which says, "God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night.…And God saw that it was good." The "Really" File - (2011 isn't 2013)

To the law and to the testimony:

If they speak not according to this word,

it is because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 8:20
"Christian minister Cindy Jacobs, described as a "respected prophet" in her online biography, made a prediction in 2009 that the Philippines would either experience a period of "greatness" or "some troubled times."
"Sickness, hunger and thirst have settled in here with the sticky, humid heat and stench of rancid
flesh hanging over the apocalyptic scene," reported CNN on what Typhoon Haiyan had done in the hardest-hit city of Tacloban.
The current devastation facing the Philippines has prompted Web users to revisit a 2009 video originally aired on "The 700 Club" of Jacobs delivering a purported prophecy for the Philippines.
In the edited video titled, "Prophecy for the Philippines by Cindy Jacobs," the so-called prophet of Generals International says: "I want you to pray. The next two years, the Lord is showing me, are going to be extremely significant for the

. Either it's going to go on to greatness, it's going to be that transformed nation, or, I see that there's going to be some troubled times."

Jacobs, who founded Generals International with her husband Mike Jacobs, has been linked to C. Peter Wagner's controversial New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) movement. The sect claims that Christians are called to take "dominion" over earthly institutions, such as politics and the media, which they claim will help usher in Jesus Christ's Second Coming.
Copies of the video have gone viral on YouTube, with commenters debating whether Jacobs, who regularly claims prophecies for various nations, had actually predicted over four years ago the widespread devastation that Filipinos are experiencing today." ChristianPost

Hmmm...2009 + "2" more years = 2011......this is 2013 though, hmmm.....
BTW, she went on to add...
"The Lord has given many promises for the Philippines. I mean, the Philippines is going to be one of the wealthiest nations on the earth." ChristianPost

Creation Moment 11/21/2013 - SDA Church celebrates Creation

“Creation: The Earth is a Witness,” a community outreach event held over the weekend at Seventh-day Adventist world church headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States.
The event promoted the biblical account of origins with a series of evening lectures for adults and daytime workshops for school-aged children led by Guide magazine nature columnist Rich Aguilera. His presentations brought the biblical flood story to life, complete with piped-in thunder, lightening projected on a screen and artificial rain.
Both kids and their parents watched a new version of the movie, “Creation: The Earth is a Witness” set to live orchestral accompaniment. The film is a day-by-day account of the creation week illustrated with footage that Adventist filmmaker Henry Stober spent five years collecting worldwide. It begins with darkness before God created light and ends with Moses, the author of the Genesis account of creation, and his son worshipping God on the seventh-day Sabbath." ANN
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished,

OT reference to the "Son" of God

A minority view is that Christ was never referenced in the OT as the future "Son" of God....not so, for in one of the many Messianic Psalms we are told....
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me,
Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Psalm 2:7

IN the NEWS - Ukraine & a Day 4 God?

Ukraine
"Ukrainian scientists suggested that Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, set up a Thanksgiving to God Day.... Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine sent the appeal to the Ukrainian President, Prime Minister, Chairman of Ukrainian Parliament, Ukrainian deputies and Christian priests.
Authors of the appeal expressed their concern about the spiritual state of modern society and youth in particular. “One becomes a witness of the growth of fraud, corruption and violence in everyday life. Hard drinking, drug addiction, prostitution and crime exist even among under aged children.”
The scientists also note that the institution of family as a basic part of the state has been destroyed. “The meaning of social morality is distorted. Immorality comes to people lives through the press, TV and internet which promote violence, pornography, sex and cruelty. If humanity doesn’t stop in its dissoluteness, violating God’s physical and spiritual laws, it will doom itself to self-destruction,” warn the scientists.
The scientists state that humanity needs to return to God with repentance.
“We appeal to everyone with the suggestion to establish the Thanksgiving to God Day and to make it a national feast." CT

Now if one understands what the mark-of-the-beast involves, then one can see another layer of excuses for it's implementation one day.
As for the Ukraine in this specific instance, is this what these people are attempting to do? Of course not, they just want to set aside ONE day to focus on God. Nothing wrong with that. It's just the point that some of these arguments could be used for the other one day in the near future.
Now as for this specific proposal in the Ukraine....should it be mandated?
And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD,
offer it at your own will.
Leviticus 22:29

Creation Moment 11/20/2013 - Newly Discovered Quasars

"The most luminous objects in the universe keep getting more mysterious.
Astronomers have discovered a new type of quasar — an incredibly bright galactic core powered by a supermassive black hole — that current theory fails to predict.

Models predict that a quasar's light and heat should push nearby gas out from the center and toward the fringes of the host galaxy. The newly found quasars do demonstrate this behavior, but, surprisingly, some of the gas also appears to be falling back to the center, researchers said.
"The gas in the disk must eventually fall into the black hole to power the quasar, but what is often seen instead is gas blown away from the black hole by the heat and light of the quasar, heading toward us at velocities up to 20 percent of the speed of light," Hall said.
"If the gas is falling into the black hole, then we don't understand why it's so rare to see infalling gas," he added. "There's nothing else unusual about these quasars. If gas can be seen falling into them, why not in other quasars?"" LiveScience
For a universe that supposedly came from the same debris of the same source (big bang) there sure is a lot of DIVERSTIY in it's make up.....Unless of course, Hebrews 11:3 is correct--then that would explain all this diversity throughout the universe...
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,
so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Jeroboam: 10 Lessons about Worship pt.10

Jeroboam made a manmade religion:
So he offered upon the altar which he had made
in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month,
even in the month
which he had devised of his own heart;
1 Kings 12:33

What was Jeroboam, with all his innovative, new, creative worship techniques remembered for?
....and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat,
which made Israel to sin;
2 Kings 13:12
...he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam .
the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
2 Kings 15:18

Creation Moment 11/19/2013 - Evolution just got kneed

...for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
Psalm 139:14
"One would think after centuries of dissections and surgeries that the human knee is pretty well understood.  Not so; a “new” ligament has been discovered, reported the BBC News, named the anterolateral ligament.  It looks pretty obvious from the photo in Medical Xpress.  It’s important, too: it helps protect the knee when we twist or change direction.  Without it, the knee can suddenly give way.  A surgeon outside the study group remarked, “If you look back through history there has been a veiled understanding that something is going on on that side of the knee but this work finally gives us a better understanding.”" CEH
One would think that if they just now found a ligament in the human knee......how could they know what happened supposedly millions of years ago with any confidence?

Jeroboam:10 Lessons about Worship pt.9

Jeroboam changes the time of worship:
And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month,
on the fifteenth day of the month,
like unto the feast that is in Judah,
and he offered upon the altar.
1 Kings 12:32

The fall festival was held during the 7th month & Jeroboam changed it to the 8th.
Hmmm.....the 7th day is the Sabbath, yet many want it celebrated on the 1st day (or as many Christians refer to it as-the 8th day....since you had Sunday thru Sabbath of redemption week & then He rose on the 1st day, also called the 8th day, to begin the new creation).
"For in respect of the observance of the eighth day of the Jewish circumcision of the flesh, a sacrament was given beforehand in shadow and in usage; but when Christ came, it was fulfilled in truth. For because the eighth day, that is, the first day after the Sabbath, was to be that on which the Lord should rise again, and should quicken us, and give us circumcision of the spirit, the eighth day, that is the first day after the Sabbath, and the Lord's Day, went before in the figure; which figure ceased when by and by the truth came and spiritual circumcision was given to us."
—Cyprian, Letter LVIII

"The number 8 was, for ancient Christianity, the symbol of the Resurrection, for it was on the day after the Sabbath, and so the eighth day, that Christ rose from the tomb. Furthermore, the seven days of the week are the image of the time of this world, and the eighth day of life everlasting [this understanding was also that of the Jews]. Sunday is the liturgical commemoration of this eighth day, and so at the same time a memorial of the Resurrection and a prophecy of the world to come. Into this eighth day, inaugurated by Christ, the Christian enters by his Baptism." Cdl. Danielou quotes St. Ambrose, Bishop of Milan who died in A.D. 397

I-N-T-E-R-E-S-T-I-N-G
Just like Jeroboam changed worship from the 7th to the 8th month, those who brought spiritual "Egypt" into the church long ago introduced the 1st/(8th) day as the day of worship in place of the 7th day Sabbath.

No Thank You Bishop Spong

Bishop John Spong declares a "New Christianity for a New World"....which he uses as a slogan for progressive Christianity.
My response:
The world really hasn't changed much. It isn't really a new world. It's just like the old one-with pain, suffering & death like before. The only difference is that we have more high-tech toys 'n gadgets, especially for communication around the planet. And our medical supplies are a lot better than the ones on hand compared to a couple hundred years ago....that being said, it's still the same old world. So what if our "toys" for mankind are a little more tech savvy?

And as for a "New Christianity" for this "new world"....I'll stick with the original Christianity, thank you very much..... Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8

Papal Notes - Mafia thinking of knocking Pope Francis off?

"(CNN) -- "I don't know if organized criminals have the capability to do something to the Pope. But they are certainly thinking about it."
These words, uttered in a recent interview by an Italian anti-Mafia prosecutor, don't quite justify the alarming worldwide headlines they provoked, but at the same time it would be rash to dismiss them
out of hand.
The new Pope represents a serious threat to some established criminal interests at a critical moment in the long history of the Mafias' relationship with Catholicism -- a past marked by both intimacy and violence.
Italy's Mafia problem is as old as the Italian state. The three major Mafias -- the Camorra, the 'Ndrangheta, and Cosa Nostra -- originated in the political violence that led up to Italian unification in 1860.
The Church loathed the new Italian state because its unification had robbed the Pontiff of his earthly kingdom, leaving him only with the Vatican City. So the Church looked elsewhere for pious sources of authority.
Religion offers the Mafias a way to bind their organizations together, and gives them the feeling that they are extorting and killing in the name of a cause more noble than their own greed.
Much remains to be done before the Catholic Church in its entirety can be said to have distanced itself from the Mafia. Priests are not always keen to dance to the new tune issuing from St Peter's. Some still preside over the lavish weddings that weld underworld dynasties together. Religious festivals are still subject to Mafia infiltration.
At the centre of its archipelago of financial institutions sits the Institute for the Works of Religion (or IOR) -- the Vatican Bank. It handles the money of many religious orders. But it also acts like a little piece of the Caymen Islands on the western side of the Tiber River, which is what makes it attractive to people who want to keep their wealth away from the prying eyes of the law.
Just a few days ago he was particularly frank in condemning Italians who worship "the goddess bribe", and who give to charity while dodging tax.
Nobody knows how far the rot extends. Many suspect that the Mafias and sundry other shady cabals have for years been concealing money under the noses of bishops and cardinals. If Francis is really determined to carry through his clean-up, then likely as not there are plenty of people who would wish him harm.
So would the Mafia really murder the Pope? It is very unlikely. The Mafias rarely kill without first carrying out a cost-benefit analysis. Even a rudimentary projection of the likely consequences of a hit on the head of the Catholic Church would show it to be a catastrophic own goal. A much more probable scenario is that the Church will carry on reforming its finances, but at its habitual leaden-footed pace. Meanwhile, the dirty money will be spirited away." CNN

Where did the faithful from up "north" go?

IN the NEWS - Pagan custom lives on in Islam

"Shiite Muslims observe Ashura through mourning rituals such as self-flagellation and reenactments of the martyrdom. Many travel to Karbala in Iraq, where Hussein was killed, as a pilgrimage on Ashura. Most observers wear black and march through the streets chanting and hitting themselves in the chest. Some use whips and chains -- or cut themselves on the forehead -- to ritually punish their bodies. This practice has been condemned by some Shiite leaders, so Ashura blood drives are often organized as a substitute.
Ashura marks many things: the creation of the world, Noah's departure from the ark, Moses' flight from Egypt and the martyrdom of the Prophet Muhammad's grandson, Hussein ibn Ali, in 680 A.D." hp

And they cried aloud, and cut themselves
after their manner with knives and lancets,

The "Really" File - (Springsteen Gospel)

UNBELIEVABLE---you can now learn as "theology" in college the Bible according to Bruce Springsteen...---...not making this up....the inspirational words of Saint Bruce can be taught to you for the $$$price$$$ of a seminar for a semester....
Professing themselves to be wise,

and the song writer’s reinterpretation of biblical stories.

Byrne Seminars, open to first-year students at Rutgers, are one-credit courses, with correspondingly lighter workloads, that offer an introduction to research in classes of no more than 20 students.

Rutgers Today: You’ve noted that Springsteen interweaves elements of the secular and the sacred in his lyrics. Can you give some examples of where and how he’s done this in his works over the years?

Azzan Yadin-Israel: The seminar includes lyrics of songs from “Greetings from Asbury Park, New Jersey,” Springsteen’s first album, all the way through “Wrecking Ball,” so this is clearly a broad
Gospel according to St. Bruce

phenomenon.  In some songs, Springsteen engages biblical motifs explicitly, as the titles indicate. For example, “Adam Raised a Cain,” “Jesus was an Only Son,” “In the Belly of the Whale” (referring to Jonah). But concepts with biblical resonance appear throughout his works (the Promised Land, redemption, faith), and it’s just a matter of taking the theological overtones seriously.

Rutgers Today: Is there one dominant theological philosophy running through the Springsteen lyrics you’ve analyzed? Which biblical stories does he link to?

Azzan Yadin-Israel: Interestingly, Springsteen refers more often to the stories of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) than the New Testament. On a literary level, Springsteen often recasts biblical figures and stories into the American landscape." RutgersToday

Oh, and one more thing.....

IN the NEWS - ENDA

"One of the most dangerous and discriminatory pieces of legislation in modern times — the ironically tagged “Employment Non-Discrimination Act,” or ENDA — passed the U.S. Senate on Thursday by a vote of 64-32. Ten Republicans disgracefully joined liberal Democrats in this effort to ultimately outlaw the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic.
According to its leftist proponents, ENDA would merely insulate people who choose to engage in homosexual conduct (sexual orientation) or those who suffer from gender confusion (gender identity) against employment intolerance. In truth, however, this legislation effectively would codify the very thing it purports to combat: workplace discrimination.
Writing in the Huffington Post, popular homosexual radio personality Michelangelo Signorile confessed that, of any potential ENDA legislation that might reach President Obama’s desk for his pledged signature, “none should include any religious exemptions” whatsoever.
Passed in senate, but not likely to pass in the house,
but if it did-U know he would sign it....
If Signorile and other “LGBT” activists get their way, this would mean that churches, mosques, synagogues, religious schools, Bible bookstores, as well as any and every other business in America with 15 or more employees, would be forced, under penalty of law, to abandon the biblical and traditional-values viewpoint on human sexuality, and hire (and otherwise not offend) those who openly flaunt expressly sinful and demonstrably self-destructive sexual behaviors.
Though in its current form ENDA contains an extremely weak religious exemption that might — and I mean might — partially protect some churches and religious organizations (until they’re sued by “gay” activists), this so-called exemption would leave most others – such as the aforementioned Bible bookstores and many Christian schools and para-church organizations — entirely unprotected.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., on the other hand, wasn’t even considerate enough to feign concern for the First Amendment. He promised homosexual pressure groups that Democrats would remove all protections for Christians and other people of faith on the flip side — after ENDA passed.
They’ve stopped pretending, folks. This is about criminalizing Christianity.
Still, there is a little good news. House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, has said that, for now at least, he opposes the law and will block it because it is both unnecessary and will result in “frivolous lawsuits.” He agrees with constitutional think tanks like the Heritage Foundation that have conclusively demonstrated the threat ENDA poses to First Amendment freedoms." TheBlaze
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the law of God,

Romans 8:7

In opposition to the Senate bill....
"U.S. Sen. Dan Coats broke the silence among critics of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, or ENDA,
The lawmaker worries the measure, if approved, would harm the religious liberties of employers, those, essentially, who disapprove of same-sex relationships on religious grounds:
"The religious beliefs “of faith-based childcare providers and small business owners would be disregarded under this legislation. Faith-based daycare providers could be forced to hire individuals with views contrary to the faith-incorporated values of these daycare providers. Do we want to support policies that discriminate against an employer’s religious beliefs and require employers to hire individuals who contradict their very most deeply held religious beliefs?”
Coats also worries the measure would give rise to ENDA-inspired complaints from those who think their workplace rights are violated, “opening the door to the silencing of employees who express their deeply held beliefs.”  TheElkhartTruth

Creation Moment 11/17/2013 - Houston, we have a problem

"Our bodies can’t take extended space travel.
Science Daily reported, “Houston: we have a problem.”  Italian scientists studied epithelial cells growing in the International Space Station and found them aging much more rapidly than on earth.  “Space-flown cells differentially expressed more than 1,000 genes and secreted high amounts of pro-inflammatory cytokines,” they discovered.  “Ultimately, this induced significant oxidative stress, causing inflammation among endothelial cells, which in turn, led to atherosclerosis and cell senescence (biological aging).”
So unless future space travelers have kids quick and train them well, long trips seem unlikely.  And who knows what other deleterious effects will be found on the body during exposure to microgravity and cosmic rays?  “We’ve evolved to rely on gravity to regulate our biology, and without it, our tissues become confused,” the journal editor remarked.  “Worst of all: they age faster!”
......... we didn’t “evolve to” rely on gravity.  We were created to thrive on the environment we were given.  The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man Psalm 116:15." CEH

Jeroboam:10 Lessons about Worship pt.7

Jeroboam "adjusts" the ministry:
And he made an house of high places,
and made priests of the lowest of the people,
which were not of the sons of Levi.
1 Kings 12:31
2 gay clergy who are also "partners"
(members of the Lutheran Church)

And he ordained him priests for the high places,
and for the devils,
and for the calves which he had made.
2 Chronicles 11:15
A more "inclusive" church of Jeroboam

You can hear the echo of Jeroboam today in the churches-as they adjust the ministry by asking "why should ordination be only for the men from Levi"?
Or, as some now do, the ordination of gay priests & pastors in some churches.
Opening up the priesthood to all would surely appeal to a sense of "social justice" in the eyes of the world....

for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Lazarus Raised - Picture the Scene

"He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth."
His voice,
clear and penetrating,
pierces the ear of the dead.
As He speaks,
divinity flashes through humanity.

In His face,
which is lighted up by the glory of God,
the people see the assurance of His power.
Every eye is fastened on the entrance to the cave.
Every ear is bent to catch the slightest sound.
With intense and painful interest all wait for the test of Christ's divinity,
the evidence that is to substantiate His claim to be the Son of God,
or to extinguish the hope forever.

There is a stir in the silent tomb,
and he who was dead stands at the door of the sepulcher.
His movements are impeded by the graveclothes in which he was laid away,
and Christ says to the astonished spectators, "Loose him, and let him go."

Again they are shown that the human worker is to co-operate with God.
Humanity is to work for humanity.

Lazarus is set free,
and stands before the company,
not as one emaciated from disease,
and with feeble, tottering limbs,
but as a man in the prime of life, and in the vigor of a noble manhood."

Definition of Fideism

"Fideism is an epistemological theory which maintains that faith is independent of reason, or that
reason and faith are hostile to each other and faith is superior at arriving at particular truths..." Wikipedia
"Fideism, as cited by Greg Bahnsen, can be defined in these ways:
1. Christian assertions are matters of blind belief and cannot be known or demonstrated to be true.
2. ...religious truths are inaccessible to human reason.
3. ...a pejorative term for subjectivist theories which are based upon religious experience and which undervalue reason in theology." ABR

You don't have to fall back to a position of "Fideism" when defending your belief.... and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 1 Peter 3:15

Creation Moment 11/16/2013 - C.S. Lewis on a Creator

1) The Argument from Natural Beauty From early on, Lewis's pessimistic view of nature as "red in tooth and claw" was counterbalanced by the longings stirred within him by nature's beauty.
In Lewis's view, the longings provoked by earthly beauty could not be accounted for by a blind and mechanistic material universe.
They required a transcendent cause outside of nature. This cause was not necessarily personal, but it did go beyond blind matter and energy. As a consequence, it put an intelligent agent back on the table as one of the options for discussion.
2) The Argument from Morality Lewis eventually recognized that the argument from undesign suffered from a critical flaw: If the material universe is all there is, and if human beings are simply the products of that universe, then on what basis can they criticize the universe for being so bad? By judging the universe in this way, human beings are presupposing the existence of a moral standard outside of material nature that can judge nature. But where did this moral standard come from? The existence in every culture of a standard by which the current operations of nature are judged implies the existence of a transcendent moral cause outside of nature.
3) The Argument from Reason Lewis argued that reason cannot be accounted for by an undirected material process of chance and necessity such as natural selection acting on random mutations. If reason could be accounted for in this way, according to Lewis, we would have no reason to trust the conclusions of our minds, including the conclusion that our minds are the products of a material process of chance and necessity. The bottom line for Lewis is that the existence of reason within nature points to a need for reason outside of nature as a transcendent intelligent cause.
4) The Argument from Functional Complexity According to Lewis, "universal evolutionism" has schooled us to think that in nature complicated functional things naturally arise from cruder and less complicated things. Oak trees come from acorns, owls from eggs, and human beings from embryos. But for Lewis this "modern acquiescence in universal evolutionism is a kind of optical illusion" that defies the actual data of the natural world. In each of the aforementioned cases, complex living things arose from even more complex living things. Every acorn originally came from an oak tree. Every owl's egg came from an actual owl. Every human embryo required two full-grown adult human beings. by John G. West
