And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Revelation 13:3
The new pope, Francis I, is a Jesuit. The Jesuit order used to be also called "God's Marines." With the first Jesuit Bishop of Rome in history, the Jesuits are poised to have more influence than ever over the Catholic Church.
The Jesuit order started by Ignatius of Loyola in 1534. They were the vanguard of the INQUISITIONS. They were known for taking an oath of extreme loyalty to the office of the Papacy. The Pope's loyal foot soldiers. They were the leaders of the counter reformation. Their initial goal was the destruction of Protestantism.
The Jesuits were suppressed because of their meddling in secular politics across all Europe by 1773, except in the Polish lands. In 1814 the Jesuit order was restored by Pope Pius VII.
As a sidenote-notice that as the Little Horn power (beast of Revelation) was heading towards its own deadly wound in 1798--the Jesuits were also suppressed. And since the Little Horn power began its "healing" process, at the outset the Jesuits were restored....hmmmm......anyway...
Now "God's Marines" sit at the pinnacle of power in the Vatican.
By the 1700's, Jesuits had the reputation of wanting to build a world-wide empire under Papal control. This led to them being the centerpiece for many conspiracy theories.
The Jesuits as an order are led by the "Balck Pope" (called that for his black robe opposite of the white robe of the actual "pope"). This "Black Pope" is the leader for life of the order and has complete control over its members, more than any other leader, including the pope, within Catholicism. The current "Black Pope" of the Jesuits-and therefore over the new Pope Francis I, is Adolfo Nicholas. Jesuits call the "Black Pope" Superior General.
The spiritual heart of a Jesuit is that of a Catholic Doctrinal Warrior.
So should people fear this pope? The truth is-wait & see........Who knows?
Here is a comment from Forbes Magazine on Jesuit Pope Francis I- "Managers know how to get the trains to run on time; leaders know how to get people to want to ride those trains. Jesuits priests true to their heritage of their founder, Ignatius Loyola who was an officer in the Spanish army prior to founding his order know how to leverage authority by bringing people together for common purpose. Jesuits know how to tap into the powers that be for financial and political support for their endeavors....." Forbes Magazine
