De-Baptizing Sweeping Europe

Tens of thousands of Europeans have been caught up in the "de-baptizing" movement creeping across the continent. Apparently it is biggest in Germany, Belgium & Austria.

By Beholding We Become Changed

Global Village and Mark of the Beast

3 Things happen according to the book of Daniel when the Time of the End begins:
1) Sanctuary Cleansed
2) Knowledge Increase
3) King of the South pushes against the King of the North

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Daniel 12:4

There are 2 views as to this knowledge increasing part:
1) Human Knowledge such as technology, etc.
2) Spiritual Knowledge as to the understanding of the Prophecies

Both types have happened rapidly since the end of the 2300 days/years which begin the Time of the End according to the book of Daniel. -1844

As for human/technical knowledge-look at the rapid increase since the mid-1800's... The technology has led us to a global village (internet, facebook, 24-hour cable news, etc). Now the whole wide world is connected and if the mark of the beast is implemented, now all will see and hear-and decide for themselves which side they are on.

Reiki & Rick Warren & the "Daniel Plan"

Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren held a gathering with a reiki practioner and new age guru Deepak Chopra. Warren calls his new health plan the "Daniel Plan". Do you think Daniel & his 3 friends would have approved? The reiki practioner was Mehmet Oz (Dr. Oz). He is a follower of the mystic Swedenborg, who claimed to be able to pass between the present life and supposed futeure life. Not only does he espouse reiki, his wife is a master practioner. Dr. Mark Hyman (editor of Alternative Theories in Health & Medicine) said "The key to the success of the "Daniel Plan" is "group living"..."individuals" will not succeed, our only hope lies in "community." - Here is a definition of Reiki from ReikiFAQ- "Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy."

One question for Pastor Warren: Why is it that you always seem to end up working with people who dabble in either emergent church/and or new age all the time? It seems that pastor Warren means well, but why not just stay to the pure side of the tracks?

Meeting of the 2 Adams

Creation Moment 1/18/2012 - Adam & Evolution

God created Adam as a man-not evolved from a primate. So if sin entered the world through mankind-how can those Christians who believe in "theistic evolution" (the idea that evolution is true, but that God did it) point below your feet at the fossil record and say the bible is true? For the fossil record contains the results of sin-pain, suffering & death. As Elijah said- And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. SDA & McDonalds

My fellow SDA's in Loma Linda, CA are fighting the opening of a McDonalds in town. It is because of the Church's emphasis on healthy living. Although Loma Linda is where there is a major SDA University-I think my fellow SDA's are making a big mistake. WHY? Because not everyone in Loma Linda is SDA nor is everyone who passes through Loma Linda. We are told to avoid extremes. Don't you think it comes across as a little "extreme"?
We are given free will. So excercise it and don't go to the McDonalds if it opens in town. Just something to think about as we lift up the Everlasting Gospel of Rev. 14 to the world....
Besides, you should be more concerned with the likes of other things going on out there in the Church in California-if ya know what I mean my fellow SDA's  :)

Cornerstone

Creation Moment 1/17/2012 - Hardwired for Religion?

An international body of researchers gathered at Oxford University came to a conclusion-mankind is hardwired to believe in religion.  As stated on Psychorg.com -  "conclude that humans are predisposed to believe in gods and an afterlife, and that both theology and atheism are reasoned responses to what is a basic impulse of the human mind."

QUESTION: If we evolved from a single cell or primordial slime, then why would we evolve anything for "religion"? Also, as you can see, you can use that drive to go towards theology or use it to go down the road of atheistic "reason". Uhmmm....It's called free will-given by our CREATOR.

Showers of Blessing

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing;

Rain

Rains on the Good & the Bad

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45

The Latter Rain

#Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, Zechariah 10:1

#"They will plead with an earnestness that cannot be repulsed. Then the windows of heaven will be open for the showers of the latter rain." Review & Herald 2/25/1890 E.G.W.

#The Latter Rain is for the people of God near the end-of-time during the time of trouble. As the Church began with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost so shall it end with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. (And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.---But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: --Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? #Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. James 5:7 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: Isaiah 44:3

#It takes place near the harvest as seen above in James 5:7 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. Revelation 14:15

#This Latter Rain will have to involve a lot of work by the Holy Spirit - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26

#Believers are to be both Justified and Sanctified - And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

#Those who won't recieve the Latter Rain at that time - Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation. Ezekiel 22:24

#And what have they done? 1) Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: 2) they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, 3) Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, 4) to get dishonest gain. A story in the National Geographic lays out the evolutionary view of religion- "Anthropologists have assumed that organized religion began as a way of salving the tensions that inevitably arose when hunter-gatherers settled down, became farmers, and developed large societies,"

The discovery in southern Turkey at Gobekli Tepe now challenges that view. A temple found there has some evolutionary anthropologists questioning if maybe religion came first, then agriculture instead of the other way around. This was suggested by Klaus Schmidt, the lead researcher at the site,

One Thing

They (WE) Lost the Christ Child

When Jesus was 12 His parents took Him to Jerusalem for the Passover which was required by Mosaic Law. While busy in their daily tasks preparing for the return trip home, they lost track of their child. After a frantic search they found Him - And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. Luke 2:46 His mother Mary was apparently upset - And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? Luke 2:47-49 There is symbolism for us today in their temporary loss of christ, as a wise author once put it - "By one days neglect they lost the Saviour: but it cost them three days of anxious search to find Him. So with us; by idle talk, evil speaking, or neglect of prayer, we may in one day lose the Saviour's presence, and it may take many days of sorrowful search to find Him and regain the peace that we have lost." The Desire of Ages p.83 E,G.W.

Creation Moment 1/15/2012 - Cambrian Explosion-Now What?

The Cambrian Explosion is a term used by evolutionists for the sudden appearance of diverse life forms in the fossil record. But now-a supposed 540 million years later-they now have a new idea. Some now claim that animal life may have existed millions of years earlier and sparked the Cambrian Explosion. The claim is that during "snowball earth" they were developing what they call "developmental toolkits" for the evolutionary process.

So....Evolution by Evolution?...Hmmm....
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2

1) Character, character, character-get your heart right with God so that your character reflects His character.

2) You know the truth, you believe the truth, you even love the truth. But the truth hasn't changed you. Let the truth change you.  

 

3) Break free from the entanglements, snares & cares of this world.

4) Prayer-pray,pray,pray.

5) Dig deeper-the Bible is a chain of Truth from Genesis to Revelation-always dig deeper.

6) The most important question the world will ask is that asked by the rich young ruler-"Master, what must I do to be saved?"...You should always be ready to give an answer.

7) Message for the ministers **a) You are the shepherds of the flock-don't let the flock run wild. You are responsible and will be held accountable for the flock.**b) The message to take to the world is to hold up the Lamb that was slain by preaching the science of the cross of salvation more than the dry points of doctrine.

8) Don't beat each other over the head over minor disagreements of minor points of doctrine. BUT hold fast to the major points of Truth. Defend & learn the major doctrines and stay free of error and false doctrine.

9) The health message-live it as best as you can.

10) Avoid extremes. Avoid the cold ice of indifference and the flames of the fire of fanaticism. Avoid extremes.

Spirit of Prophecy & His End Time Church

What is the "Testimony" of Jesus? ...for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10
A postcanonical prophecy/prophet must
1) Totally be in harmony with the canon of scripture (Bible). To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20
2) Judged carefully by the community. Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. 1 Corinthians 14:29
3) Content of the prophecy should be edifying to the community. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 1 Corinthians 14:3
4) Prophecy should be done in an orderly way. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33
For someone to have the gift of prophecy since the close of the canon of scripture-they have the same INSPIRATION as the Biblical writers-but NOT the same AUTHORITY as the Biblical writers. For whatever they give as a message cannot add or take away from scripture. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revealation 22:19 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:18 For I am the LORD, I change not; Malachi 3:6
If someone in any Church would happen to be given the gift of prophecy for their Church--- Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;Romans 12:6 --- It would
1) Point to the Scriptures
2) Illuminate teachings already there
3) Apply principles of Scripture to the daily life
4) Reprove, warn & instruct to stay on course
5) Protect from false doctrines.

As E.G.W. tell us- "The written testimonies are not to give new light, but to impress vivdly upon the heart the truths of inspiration already given." Testimonies for the Church Vol. 5, p.665 E.G.W.  "The testimonies were not given to take the place of the Bible." Testimonies for the Church vol. 5, p.663 E.G.W. "Let the testimonies be judged by their fruits. What is the spirit of their teachings? What has been the result of their influence?" Testimonies for the Church vol. 5, p.671 E.G.W. "The cares of the world, the love of fashion, and the lack of religion have turned the attention from the light God has so graciously given, while books and periodicals containing error are traveling all over the country. Skepticism and infidelity are increasing everywhere." Testimonies forthe Church vol. 5, p.681 E.G.W. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: Acts 2:16-18
Ellen G. White, considered to be a mesenger to the last day church, considered her writings to be the LESSER LIGHT that POINTS toward the GREATER LIGHT of the Bible. Her writings under inspiration are to NEVER take the place of the Bible.

In one scale were the thoughts and interests tending heavenward; in the other were the thoughts and interests tending to earth. And in this scale were thrown all the reading of storybooks, thoughts of dress, and…vanity, pride, etc….the angels of God, standing with scales, weighing the thoughts of His professed children,….The scale filled with thoughts of earth…quickly went down…rolled from the scale. The one with the thoughts and interests tending to heaven went quickly up as the other went down….the angel with the scales weighing the thoughts and interests of the people of God, said the angel: Can such enter heaven? Creation Moment 1/13/2012 - Hybrid Shark of Australia-Is it Evolution?

This was the lead paragraph on Yahoo News telling of the discovery of hybrid sharks off the coast of Australia - "Scientists said on Tuesday that they had discovered the world's first hybrid sharks in Australian waters, a potential sign the predators were adapting to cope with climate change....Simpfendorfer said the study, published late last month in Conservation Genetics, could challenge traditional ideas of how sharks had and were continuing to evolve." ... Uhmmm... How do they know what they may have been "adapting" to?
The article points out the following:

The sharks have the genes of an Australian black-tip shark, but look like the Common black-tip shark.

The shark has been produced by a hybridization of the two “species.”

The hybrid shark can survive in colder water.

The sharks can produce viable offspring, as is evident from the “genetic roadmap” that has been collected.

The hybrids were “extraordinarily abundant, accounting for up to 20 percent of black-tip population. Eric Hovind

As Eric Hovind pointed out the obvious from the article-the sharks are still sharks. This is NOT evolution in progress as they want you to believe.

@ Result of sin is death. (Not immortality in heaven, hell or purgatory) ..the soul that sinneth, it shall die. Ezekiel 18:4
