This is just so incredibly cringeworthy; we don't know what else to

say about it, really.
The economy is limping along and Americans, seeing soaring food prices and wages that can't keep up with inflation, are struggling to put food on their table. So, in a very unhelpful (and kind of condescending way), the CEO of Kellogg's tells people to eat cereal for dinner to save money.
But this shows a level of tone deafness we haven't seen in a while. And it's an admission that the economy -- despite protestations to the contrary -- is probably not as good as the Biden administration boasts it is.
Cereal isn’t that cheap and it’s empty carbs, sugar, and chemicals. Kellogg's cereal is devoid of any nutritional value and loaded with potentially harmful ingredients. This is not food, much less a nutritious meal. 

I'd be willing to bet the Kellogg's CEO isn't eating cereal for dinner."

“I think when you’re looking at a lot of the artists out there, a lot of their stage shows are Satanic rituals live in front of 20,000 people without them realizing and recognizing,” Lynch told Ireland’s Sunday World. The former Boyzone singer added, “You’ll see a lot of hoods up and masks on and fire ceremonies....Even down to Taylor Swift — one of the biggest artists in the world — you watch one of her shows and she has two or three different demonic rituals to do with the pentagrams on the ground, to do with all sorts of stuff on her stage,” he said.....also told Sunday World that certain music is a danger to society, because musicians are channeling the Devil right before everyone’s eyes.

Lynch also noted that he has personally seen Satanic rituals during his time in the music industry that involved praying over albums to ensure they are successful.
The former Boyzone singer went on to say that he himself has stopped listening to certain music, as he believes that particular beats can have an impact on people.

“When it comes to a lot of the music that’s out there at the moment — more of the hip-hop side of things — there is a lot of hidden Satanic and a lot of evil within them, including down to the beats. It’s very real,” he said.
“Music attaches to your emotions,” Lynch added, “It has a connection to your spirit and how you feel. That’s why I’ve stopped listening to those types of music myself because it doesn’t suit my spirit.”

Lynch also claimed that certain music is damaging to society in general — especially when it comes to children.
“It’s coming in right at our children from the very beginning to get them to sway away from anything Godly, anything controlled or disciplined,” Lynch added. “It’s getting wilder and wilder out there for a reason.”
Last year, the singer said that Sam Smith and Beyonce are “so demonic it’s unbelievable.”

Creation Moment 2/29/2024 - Dinosaur skin shows no feathers

"A dinosaur fossil with “incredibly well-preserved skin” was found in Patagonia in 1984. However, the fossil wasn’t properly studied at first. It has only recently been fully analyzed by scientists.

The dinosaur has been identified as a horned abelisaurid (Carnotaurus sastrei). 

The scientists found amazing detail of scales, wrinkles, and horny bumps covering nearly every part of the predator. A recent news article on the fossil find repeated the common assertion that many dinosaurs had been feathered. And yet, the writer then admitted that “not anywhere is there even a hint of a feather” on the abelisaurid fossil. She went on to state that large, meat-eating dinosaurs such as T. Rex and the horned abelisaurid “really did seem to have scaly, lizard-like skin.”

Many secularist scientists are keen to portray dinosaurs as having been feathered, as it lends support to the fanciful idea that birds evolved from dinosaurs.

That’s not to say that God couldn’t have created some dinosaurs with feathers. If that were so, it wouldn’t detract in any way from Biblical truth. But despite many claims for feathered dinosaurs, the evidence is sketchy at best."

The Garments of Sardis

"The church’s works were “incomplete in the sight of God”

(Revelation 3:2), demanding repentance; otherwise, Jesus warned He would “come like a thief” against them (Revelation 3:3). In verse four, however, Jesus stated, “you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.”

Apparently, all but a handful of individuals in Sardis wore “soiled” garments. Given that the wider church would be unable to stand before God if Jesus should come “as a thief” without their repentance, these soiled garments corresponded to the majority church’s condition of sinful inadequacy before God. 

Commentators have noted that Jesus’ reference to soiled clothing recalls Old Testament principles of uncleanliness, showing that most church members in Sardis were unfit for life with God in the New Jerusalem. These individuals needed purification through the only means possible—the atoning blood of Jesus. Most professing believers in Sardis, however, were living as enemies of the only Person who could save them.

Jesus described these believers’ reward in verse five: “The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.”

To reiterate, believers do not actively achieve this state by clothing themselves in their own righteousness. 

Instead, Jesus promised that faithful Christians in Sardis would “be clothed.” This phrasing suggests the believers’ righteousness is a gift from God."

Creation Moment 2/28/2024 - A Good Creator

"When Paul spoke at Mars Hill, he went back to creation to challenge key errors held by the Epicureans and Stoics in his audience.
In Lystra, Paul and Barnabas similarly identified their God as the Creator of heaven and earth. 

That Paul could reference Genesis so often as a precedent for his theology indicates that teaching Gentile believers about creation was a key element of discipleship for Paul.

*God is a good Creator whose laws are beneficial. 

*And when we rebel against His law, He has the right, and even the obligation, to uphold those laws by judging those who break them.

To understand the origin of sin and why we have to be saved, we

need Genesis. The creation account in Genesis 1–3 makes it clear that God did not create the world to include sin and death, but that they were intruders introduced by Adam’s rebellion in Eden. 

Paul makes this especially clear in his great chapter on the Gospel and bodily resurrection, 1 Corinthians 15. Paul first defines the Gospel by which we are saved: believing in Christ’s atoning death, burial, and resurrection on the third day (vv. 1–4). But then he connects Jesus’ resurrection with the reason He came to die: the sin and death of Adam: For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. (vv. 21–22).
A few verses on (v. 45), he explicitly calls Adam “the first man”, not one of a population of humans that evolved from a population of ape-like ancestors."

criminalizes hate speech.

If someone is charged with hate speech in Canada, they can defend themselves in court by arguing they were, in good faith, making an argument based on their religious beliefs.

The bill got through the first reading in the House of Commons but then stalled in the parliamentary process, prompting the party to retable the bill, now known as C-373, to jump start the discussion. The bill is currently outside the Order of Precedence, meaning it has yet to be selected for debate, but would surely pass if Justin Trudeau and his government get their hands on it.

"On 25 June 2021, an international research team announced a proposed new human species from China, which they named Homo longi. The specimen is a well-preserved cranium (skull), called the Harbin cranium. It was first unearthed in the province Heilongjiang, meaning ‘Black Dragon River’ (the exact location is uncertain), so its owner was nicknamed ‘Dragon Man’.

The braincase capacity is 1,420 cc—just a little bigger than the modern human average. 

---Evolutionists regard the robust features of ‘archaic’ humans, like

Neanderthals for instance, as more ‘primitive’ (in evolutionary terms) than the more delicate features of the supposedly more highly evolved modern humans, known as ‘gracile’. 

Gracile humans are alleged to be ‘derived’ from an earlier ‘archaic’ condition. The ‘Dragon Man’ skull is said to display “a mosaic of primitive and derived characters.” ‘Mosaic’ here implies that it has certain characters typical of robust humans, and others typical of more gracile humans. This is in contrast to each of the characters being a blend, mid-way between their condition in each group.

Not all evolutionists agree with assigning Dragon Man to a new species. An article in New Scientist gave two reasons why this is particularly so. 

One was that “H. longi seems to be more closely related to [i.e. more similar to] modern humans than the Neanderthals were”. 

The other reason is that we know from DNA that “modern humans and Neanderthals interbred successfully on many occasions.”

Interbreeding by definition makes humans and Neanderthals the same biological species. This is one of several reasons creationists have long pointed out that Neanderthals were fully human descendants of Adam and Eve, and more specifically of the eight humans that survived Noah’s Flood some 4,500 years ago. In other words, Dragon Man is just another robust human."

The Question: "Where’d Cain get his wife?”

"One of the most-asked questions about the Bible is “Where’d Cain get his wife?” Skeptics have found that many Christians are easily stumped by this query, but the answer isn’t as hard as you might think.

Many Christians have been taught that Cain went to Nod, found a wife, got married, and had a son. But if Adam and Eve were the only two people that God created, where did the people of Nod come from?

First, let’s read the actual words of Genesis 4:16–17 Then Cain

went away from the presence of the Lord and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden. Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. When he built a city, he called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch.

The Bible does not say that Cain went to Nod and later found a wife there. Rather, the implication in Scripture is that he already had a wife when he went to Nod. The event that took place in Nod was that he “knew” his wife—had sexual relations with her—and she conceived and gave birth to a son.

Genesis 5:4 makes it clear that they had multiple sons and daughters: The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.
So, since we are “one blood” descended from Adam and Eve, the only person Cain could have married would have been a sister or a niece.

The immediate reaction to Cain marrying his sister or niece is often shock or disgust. Today, marrying close relations is called incest. However, approximately 6,000 years ago, God did not forbid marriage between close relatives. 

Q: Why?
A: Adam and Eve were created perfect. It wasn’t until after the fall that suffering and death affected mankind and every other living thing. One aspect of this suffering would have been mutations in the DNA that result in disease. Since Adam and Eve were created genetically perfect, their children would have had few mutations. Mutations in subsequent generations would have continued to increase and accumulate. Eventually, it became too dangerous to marry a close relation because of the increased likelihood of inherited disease.

During the time of Moses, approximately 2,500 years after creation, God forbade marriage between close relatives (Leviticus 18:6–18). It seems that one reason was health."

Creation Moment 2/26/2024 - Darwin’s “abominable mystery”

Origin of Species, Charles Darwin wrote a letter to botanist Dr. Joseph Hooker. One sentence in particular underscored a vexing problem for evolutionary theory: “The rapid development as far as we can judge of all the higher plants within recent geological times is an abominable mystery.” 

By ‘higher plants’ Darwin had in mind the plants he viewed as being

the most ‘highly evolved’, i.e. the Angiosperms—plants with flowers (with seeds produced inside the female reproductive organ). As BBC Science put it, “The famous naturalist was haunted by the question of how the first flowering plants evolved.”
“One hundred and forty years later, the mystery’s still unsolved,” acknowledged University of London evolutionary biologist, Professor Richard Buggs.
The Bible actually places the origin of all plants—algae, mosses, ferns, pine trees, and the flowering plants—on Day 3 of Creation Week; not billions of years ago, but only about 6,000."

Gabriel that the ram represented the kingdom of Media and Persia; and that the goat was the kingdom of Grecia; and the horn which became exceeding great, though not called by name, was identified by several decisive facts, among which are these: That it should be the great destroyer of the people of God, and that it should put to death the Prince of princes. 

*These facts show that the Roman power is intended. 

In connection with these symbols which represent the great empires that have since arisen, the prophet learned the duration of his vision. For he heard Gabriel ask Michael, “How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And Michael, who answered the question to Daniel, said: “Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Verses 13,14. 

*Now, it is plain that the period of twenty-three hundred days cannot be understood to mean so many literal days; for this would not make quite seven years and would cover only a very small part of the duration of one of the three great empires of this vision. 

---But we should remember that in this vision the great empires of the world are represented by symbols, and thus are given on a scale which brings them distinctly before the eye of the observer. 

It is necessary that the time should be given on a scale that corresponds with this in order not to involve an absurdity. For the Persian, Grecian, and Roman Empires have in all continued between 2000 and 3000 years. 

Now when these empires were represented by beasts, if the time that the empires were to continue was given without a corresponding abatement, then we should have these beasts living a thousand years apiece! This would be absurd. But it would not be absurd to represent them as living and acting that number of days. The days must therefore represent longer periods of time. 

If we compare spiritual things with spiritual, we shall find the key to the interpretation of these days. For the different inspired writers were all led by the same Spirit of truth. They were like so many workmen engaged in building a temple. 

If we can find the rule which governed one of them, we shall find that same rule governing all the rest in like circumstances. 

*Now God gave this rule to Ezekiel in the interpretation of the symbols of his own vision: “I have appointed thee each day for a year.” Eze.4:6."

Spiritual Lesson of Clothes

"As with so many questions, the answer to why we wear clothes

traces back to Genesis. We find the Bible’s first reference to clothing in Genesis 3, which records how human sin brought corruption, death, and suffering into the world. 

After Adam and Eve rebelled against God, Genesis 3:7 recounts that the “eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked.”

Recognizing their need for a covering, Adam and Eve sewed together fig leaves for cloth.

Despite these garbs of greenery, the couple still felt the need to hide from God’s presence (Genesis 3:8). Yet no human can escape accountability to God. 

*As Hebrews 4:13 says, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Adam and Eve understood this truth in every sense, for Adam confessed that he had hidden from God in fear because of his own nakedness (Genesis 3:10).

Yet God in his mercy provided garments of skin to Adam and Eve, presumably from an animal which needed to die to become a covering. 

---This first Biblical reference to clothing anticipates how God would send His Son, Jesus, as the sacrificial Lamb to become the covering for human sin."

Muncie Spercial: Miss Jessie Crow, 21 years old, of Pennville. died Wednesday morning under circumstances which are causing

investigation by the police and coroner. 

The young woman visited Harry Galloway at his barber shop in the suburb of Avondale Tuesday noon and was taken sick at the shop. The young man did not call a physician until too late, and she died on a bed in the rear room. The body was taken to the morgue, where an examination was made. Galloway, being detained at the police station.

In the meantime. The examination showed cause for holding the man until a further investigation is made. The young woman had been employed as a hotel waitress in Muncle for some time, 

---and once before was taken ill at the barber shop and was removed to the hospital.

Creation Moment 2/25/2024 - Your Finely-Crafted Engines

"Model train enthusiasts never had it so good. Imagine five different models of finely-crafted engines, all in perfect working order, and enough track to cover a city. That’s what each of us has, right now, inside our cells.
Review article in the current issue of the journal Cell, by Ronald D. Vale of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He begins,

"A cell, like a metropolitan city, must organize its bustling community of macromolecules. Setting meeting points and establishing the timing of transactions are of fundamental importance for cell behavior. The high degree of spatial/temporal organization of molecules and organelles within cells is made possible by protein machines that transport components to various destinations within the cytoplasm."

Vale reviews the five major motor engine families that ferry cargo

around the cell: actin, dynein, conventional homodimeric kinesin, heterotrimeric kinesin II, and Unc104/KIF1. These engines show remarkable flexibility and diversity in living things, from plants to sea squirts to fungi to worms, and are highly conserved from the smallest organisms to the largest. 

Q: What about the switching? 

Q: What keeps the engines from colliding on the tracks?

"To achieve law and order on the intracellular highways, the multiple cargo-carrying motors in a single cell must be regulated. In the majority of animal cells, individual organelles switch frequently between anterograde (microtubule plus-end-directed) and retrograde (minus-end-directed) movement …. In most cells, relatively little is known about the regulation and coordination of bidirectional motion. … individual cargoes move primarily unidirectionally in these extended processes, and a switch in direction occurs when cargoes reach the ends of these elongated structures."

There is an unknown switching mechanism at so-called “turnaround zones” on the microtubules that dynein and kinesin engines travel on.

"The microscopic observations of cargo transport in axons and flagella raise a number of similar questions. How do the opposite polarity motors, kinesin and dynein, coordinate their activities? What kind of machinery processes the incoming cargo and switches motor direction at the ‘turnaround’ zones? Molecular answers to these questions are beginning to emerge but are far from complete."

As a sidelight, another review article in the same issue of Cell by a team from UC San Diego describes how these motors are involved in tugging the chromosomes apart during cell division (mitosis).

Vale’s article is another of many we have reported that seems

schizophrenic. On one side of his brain, he marvels at the engineering and design, and on the other side, attributes it all to chance. Here is Vale’s storytelling about how this coordinated transportation system arose: “The complexity of these ‘Toolbox’ motors expanded in higher eukaryotes through gene duplication, alternative splicing, and the addition of associated subunits, which enabled new cargoes to be transported.” Impressed? 

Q: Well, for crying out loud, how did the motors get there in the first place?"

Gleanings from Isaiah 58 & the Sabbath

"It truly is remarkable how Christians can take Biblical passages

(Isaiah 58) that speak about the restoration of the true seventh-day Sabbath found in God’s law and apply them to Sunday. 

*They fail to highlight Isaiah 58:12, which talks about the “breach” and the restoration of God’s original day of rest, which has been destroyed for centuries by the “little horn” (Daniel 7:25). 

They only read Isaiah 58:13–14, which emphasizes the importance of observing the Sabbath, but ignore that this day must be restored from Sunday to Saturday.

“And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” Isaiah 58:12.

When you take something out of context and selectively quote only part of the information, such as the prophetic passages from God’s word, you end up distorting the original intention.

Gleanings from Jezebel’s Name

And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? 

arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: 

I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite. 

1 Kings 21:7

"In the Old Testament Jezebel’s name is mentioned many times in the book of 1-2 Kings. It means “Baal exalts”.

The Greek word for Jezebel in the NT is a derivation of her name in Hebrew but with a twist.... Her name in the NT means “chaste.”

Jezebel’s name ends in “bel” which is a reference to Baal which was

associated with devil worship, hence the meaning of her name in the OT “Baal exalts.” 

 An example of “bel” as part of a name associated with the devil is “Beelzebub” and “Belial.” Jezebel’s name means chaste but with a satanic taint to it. 

There is a godly chastity that promotes godly fruit of character, to be pure, quiet, reserved and submissive (Ephesians 5:22-23). 

And there is a satanic chastity, to be outwardly quiet, reserved, not seeking to be the main attention in public, but secretly be working behind the scenes using smokescreens to be in control for your own selfish self-exalted desires which in turn produces corrupt and bad fruit.

The Spirit of Jezebel is determined, and molds the character of the weak husband. In the public eye however, Ahab is the one commanding giving orders. Jezebel is quiet in the background being a “good wife” in the eyes of the people, and Ahab seems to them like a good leader. But in reality, in the private life, Ahab is weak and Jezebel is the one in charge using Ahab and the prophets of Baal to do her bidding which produced bad fruit and death to those who worshiped God.

Jezebel professes to be a prophetess and seduces the servants of God (Revelation 2:20). 

Q:  How does she do this? 

A:  By being chaste and discrete on the outside appearing to be godly but using whomever she can to be her tool and work behind the scenes to achieve her selfish goals. Jesus says by their fruits ye shall know them, and the spirit of Jezebel will be known by the fruits he or she produces."

Many people are also speculating the cell outages could have been the result of some type of cyberattack."
