Gleanings from Isaiah 58 & the Sabbath

"It truly is remarkable how Christians can take Biblical passages
(
Isaiah 58) that speak about the restoration of the true seventh-day Sabbath found in God’s law and apply them to Sunday.
*They fail to highlight Isaiah 58:12, which talks about the “breach” and the restoration of God’s original day of rest, which has been destroyed for centuries by the “little horn” (Daniel 7:25).
They only read Isaiah 58:13–14, which emphasizes the importance of observing the Sabbath, but ignore that this day must be restored from Sunday to Saturday.

And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.Isaiah 58:12.

When you take something out of context and selectively quote only part of the information, such as the prophetic passages from God’s word, you end up distorting the original intention.
---When done deliberately, it becomes a tactic to deceive people. According to Matthew 24:11–24, false prophets will attempt to deceive and manipulate people in the last days."
