Q: Why did the beast of pagan-papal Rome look like Greece, and like Medo-Persia, and also like Babylon?
A: Because it had absorbed the false teachings of those prior kingdoms.
Pagan Rome absorbed then, and then pagan Rome gradually morphed into papal Rome, which also absorbed them.
