"As the story goes, a man studies the writings of popular modern-day prophets, watches their shows on TV, attends their crusades, and mimics their methods. Behind the scenes, the man is groomed and conditioned to carry on the promises of financial prosperity, healing, and prophetic declarations to anyone who would lend an ear. In time, the man would step into the public eye and claim to be a prophet of God.

 Thousands come from far and near to see the prophet, standing outside for hours in the rain, heat, and cold. Once inside, they rush to purchase the prophet's DVDs, CDs, shiny trinkets, and autographed books and photos.

 Afterwards, they push and shove their way into the auditorium, where the atmosphere is electrically-charged with noise and excitement.

 The choir bellows soul-stirring songs through huge amplifiers positioned front and rear of the building. Giant TV screens border each side of the stage.

 Assistants and medical personnel stand ready on the main floor. Hurried hearts pound with emotion and anticipation. Restless and tear-filled eyes focus on center-stage, awaiting the prophet's entrance.

 Unmoved by the commotion and fanfare, the prophet's bodyguards, catchers, and VIPs file aimlessly from the rear of the stage and take their seats.

 But where is the prophet? the crowd wonders.

  On cue, the prophet boldly struts to center-stage, groomed and manicured from head to toe, strong-willed and brimming with king-like charm and poise. Shouting and ear-deafening applause fills the auditorium. The prophet grins and prances back-and-forth across his stage, commanding the attention of all, then stops. He lifts his hands high and shouts to announce the grand entrance of a powerful healing presence in the building.

 Upon the prophet's command, hundreds rush the stage to claim their healing, to possess a morsel of the prophet's anointing, and to submerge their hearts and minds in the prophet's authority and influence.

 Under close scrutiny from the prophet's medical staff, the sick and dying stand in line waiting, hoping to be examined and judged worthy of being chosen to appear in the prophet's presence.

 Hundreds come, but few are chosen.

 Those who are approved, those who look and sound legitimate, will be used to motivate and stimulate the audience. They anxiously await their turn to gaze into the prophet's eyes, and to be seen and touched by the prophet. When their moment finally arrives, their minds go blank, their bodies go limp, they feel the bolts of electricity surge through their bodies.

 And with a breath from the prophet's mouth or wave of his hand, they fall backwards to the stage floor, some softly, others violently, shaking out of control, as if manipulated on strings dangling from a giant, invisible puppeteer.

 It is then when the sick and dying are under the prophet's complete control. Eventually, when the adrenalin subsides, when the consuming euphoria fades away, the torment of reality sets in, and the sick and dying depart the crusade in the same manner they arrived...sick and dying.

 The story is all too common, but in a different time, and with a different face. You may have seen him on-stage with Benny Hinn, prophesying over people, revealing their innermost thoughts, and pronouncing people healed through his prophetic words. He is Yakim Manasseh Jordan, son of E. (Elijah) Bernard Jordan, the new kid on the hyper-Charismatic block, and rising star within the Word of Faith movement."

Billions of potentially habitable planets may exist within our galaxy, the Milky Way, raising new prospects that life could exist near Earth, a study has found.Researchers discovered that at least 100 of the ''super-Earths'' may be on our galactic doorstep, at distances of less than 30 light years, or about 180 trillion miles, from the sun.

Astronomers say the findings were made after conducting a survey of red dwarf stars, which account for about four in five stars in the Milky Way.

They calculate that around 40 per cent of red dwarfs have a rocky planet not much bigger than Earth orbiting the ''habitable zone'', in which liquid surface water can exist. Iranian Crackdown on Christians

"ISTANBUL, March 16 (Compass Direct News) – In a rare crackdown on a concentrated area, Iranian authorities have arrested Christians living in the country’s third largest city in what is seen as a tactic to discourage Muslims and converts to Christianity from attending official churches.
Since last month officials have arrested about 12 Christian converts in Isfahan, 340 kilometers (211 miles) south of Tehran. Authorities have arrested leaders and members of churches meeting in buildings, as well as some from underground churches, according to Mohabat News.
The targeted arrests started on Feb. 22, when intelligence officers arrested approximately seven Christians at their homes between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., Mohabat reported. Authorities raided their homes and confiscated valuables, including Bibles, computers, identification and other documents, and in one case even pictures decorating walls.
Authorities have allegedly arrested more Christians in Isfahan, but sources have not been able to confirm the arrests and details. None of those arrested in Isfahan last month has been officially charged.
Though religious freedom monitors in Iran said it was not clear what triggered authorities to target Christians in Isfahan, one Iranian Christian outside the country said it may be yet another tactic to stop converts from attending Farsi-speaking meetings in official church buildings.
“I now have 12 names of Christians arrested in Isfahan,” said the Iranian Christian, who requested anonymity. “Isfahan is a very Islamic city. We have two or three church buildings there. The government is very sensitive in Isfahan, which is the only city apart from Tehran with official church buildings. A study re-evaluated some estimates, and found them overall quite good, with one “glaring error” – trees might not produce rings after a volcanic eruption strong enough to affect climate. Over millions of years, gravity caused the planets and other objects to form from this disk, and then excess gas and dust dissipated and cleared away, leaving the solar system as we see it." CMI

When you truly think about the evolutionary process of accretion-it is actually silly & absurd. Besides, we now know it isn't true since much of the solar system is NOT made up of the same chemical properties which would be expected if the evolutionary view were accurate.

"A new finding shows dogs performing better on one kind of intelligence test than chimpanzees. If evolution teaches that human intelligence is the main trait separating us from other animals, and dogs are smarter than apes, shouldn’t the conclusion be that dogs are closer on the family tree? If not, is it valid for evolutionary biologists to pick and choose the traits that matter? Researchers at Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology worked with 32 dogs of different breeds, and 20 chimpanzees at reserves in Germany and Uganda. They gave them simple tests to see if they could figure out where food was by pointing at it. Despite rigorous attempts to rule out background causes or other distractions, the dogs scored much higher; the chimps just couldn’t get the message. The following is interesting considering that in lab experiments, blood cells closed off from air or other things that could decay them, only could last about 5,000 years-give or take a few.....So the idea that dinosaurs lived 60,000,000 years ago isn't supported by the science....

1) The evolutionary view-which leads to acceptance of abortion, euthanasia, racism, etc.
2) The Biblical/Creation View-which leads to equality for all and a value on life if truly practiced.

Tithe-beauty & simplicity of the system

Creation Moment 3/15/2012 - Hydrogen/Helium

Big-Bang evolutionists believe union of these two gases formed life...
Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, explosive gas.
Helium is a colorless, odorless, inert gas.
So if you believe the big-bang, then you have to believe a highly explosive gas mixed with an inert gas and formed life....which logically is impossible.
