How did the Jews Before Christ on earth hear the Gospel?

"For unto us [that is, the Jews of Paul's day] was the gospel preached, as well as unto them [the "them" refers to the Jews of the exodus]. Heb.4:2

Q: Did the Jews of the exodus hear the gospel? 

A: Yes. 

Q: How? 

A: Through the sanctuary service primarily... Of course, the Jews of Christ's day and Paul's day heard the gospel through the proclamation of Christ."
