The Mistake as it Relates to Prophecy

"A great majority of people in all ages have made the sad
mistake of not understanding the times in which they lived
.

This is shown by the time of Noah and the time of Christ

Christ said on one occasion: "If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day the things which belong unto thy peace. But now they are hid from thine eyes. . . . because thou knowest not the time of thy visitation."
The Jews prided themselves on being the children of Abraham, the sons of God; yet they did not understand their own time.

We trace the lines of prophecy down through Daniel and Revelation and we find we are always brought face to face with the fact that we are on the brink of the eternal world.

Noah was victorious, and his faith carried him over the waters of the flood to this side. ....God's word never fails. May he forgive us for all our doubting which makes his word a lie...."
