IN the NEWS - UMC gripped by Militant Feminism

The Militant Feminism of Cultural Marxism has risen it's divisive, intolerant head within the United Methodist Church.....

"Approximately 6,000 people attended the United Methodist Women's quadrennial Assembly, where leaders denounced the denomination's recent voting down of an amendment to their Book of
Discipline which said that God is not "male or female."
Recently, the United Methodist Church announced that their annual conferences narrowly voted down Proposed Constitutional Amendment I, which included the claim that "it is contrary to Scripture and to logic to say that God is male or female, as maleness and femaleness are characteristics of human bodies and cultures, not characteristics of the divine."
Earlier this month, it was announced that Proposed Constitutional Amendment I, which stated in part that God is not "male or female" failed to pass. Amendment I received 66.5 percent of the vote, less than a half percentage point shy of the minimum 66.7 percent majority. The necessary supermajority was defeated by about 100 votes." CP

"Scripture contains approximately 170 references to God as the “Father.” By necessity, one cannot be a father unless one is male. If God had chosen to be revealed to man in a female form, then the word “mother” would have occurred in these places, not “father.” In the Old and New Testaments, masculine pronouns are used over and over again in reference to God.

Jesus Christ referred to God as the Father several times and in other cases used masculine pronouns in reference to God. In the Gospels alone, Christ uses the term “Father” in direct reference to God nearly 160 times. Of particular interest is Christ’s statement in John 10:30: “I and the Father are one.”
