Calendar of Redemption: -SUMMARY-

Calendar of Redemption:
-SUMMARY-
(What Christians can learn from these feasts)
*Notice that of the 7 Feasts set by God,
       ^ 3 are back-to-back in the spring. (Passover, Unleavened Bread & Firstfruits) symbolizing His death, burial & resurrection over 3 consecutive days.
       ^ Another one (Pentecost) falls 50 days later on the edge of summer. This represents the outpouring of the Holy Spirit onto God's people to spread the Gospel to the world. Notice there is a gap of time, a long hot summer & early fall. (Think in terms of the 1260 days/years of prophecy or the last 1810 days/years of the 2300 day/year prophecy after the cross).
       ^ 3 are in the fall (Trumpets, Atonement & Booths) with small gaps of time between them. These represent the end of time timeframe. The sounding of the Trumpets (3 Angels Message) with the judgment beginning culminating in the actual atonement with the final work in the sanctuary. Then He takes His people to the promised from this wilderness He has led them through.
Let no man therefore judge you in meat,
or in drink,
or in respect of an holyday,
or of the new moon,
or of the sabbath days:
These are
a shadow of the things that were to come;
the reality, however, is found in Christ.
Colossians 2:16,17 NIV
*The other 2 Feasts.....Both Purim (implemented by Esther) & Dedication, or Lights, (implemented during the inter-testament period) point Christians to the deliverance of God. Notice...
       ^ There are 2 Feasts about DELIVERANCE. Where in the Bible do we see 2 major stories of deliverance? In Daniel...the fiery furnace & the lions den. When God repeats something it is for a reason.
       ^ Look close & you will see that one (Purim) is right before the spring feasts. And the other (Hanukkah) is after the fall feasts. ... LESSON: God is telling you, both before & after, that He will preserve His people.
       ^ In Purim (Feast of Lots) we see the preservation of God in this Great Controversy of His people. For where in the Sanctuary system do we see lots cast? On the day of Atonement between the goats for the one sacrificed (Christ) & the infamous scapegoat (Lucifer).
Born with a fallen human nature, He risked the chance of failure (for how else could anything in the Gospel make sense? If there was no chance of failure--then this would all be a charade down here-& a waste of time & souls. BUT if there is was the element of chance-then the whole thing makes sense & the victory of real substance). By His victory He has preserved His people.
Like in Daniel & the Lions Den, He has preserved His people through the ravages of the roaring lion Lucifer in this Great Controversy & Christ has won.
       ^ As for the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah), it is also known as the Feast of Lights. The lit candles required fire--and in Daniel's other story of deliverance, we see fire in the fiery furnace. Hanukkah also has to do with the re-dedication of the temple as a result of the deliverance. A reminder for Christians today, to learn from, of His plan of salvation laid out in the sanctuary (temple).
       ^ 7 Branch candlestick in the Sanctuary, which symbolizes the 7 phases of Church history post cross, we also see the 7 Feasts.
       ^ As for the Menorah for Hanukkah (a 9 branch candlestick) what can Christians learn from that? Well the Jews may not see it, but, think about it. There are the 7 feasts given to Moses & 2 more later. Total 9. Just saying....

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time,
then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place;
but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed:
and who knoweth whether thou art come
to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Esther 4:14
DELIVERANCE

*The Godhead (Trinity) in the Feasts. There were 3 feast of which the Jewish males were to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. If we look close, dig deeper, we see something in them:
       ^ CHRIST: Unleavened bread---burial of Christ.
       ^ HOLY SPIRIT: Pentecost---outpouring of the Spirit.
       ^ GOD: Booths---God delivers His people through this wilderness.
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
Deuteronomy 6:4
One God to appear before in (The New Jerusalem) as 3 beings:
And God said, Let us make man in our image,
Genesis 1:26
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; {GOD the FATHER}
mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; (CHRIST the SON}
I have put my spirit upon him: {the HOLY SPIRIT}
he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
Isaiah 42:1
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear
before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose;
in the feast of unleavened bread,
and in the feast of weeks,
and in the feast of tabernacles:
Deuteronomy 16:16
