The 2nd law of thermodynamics simplified boils down to this: Energy used in the 1st law, at least some of it, becomes unavailable for further work---in other words everything is decaying & "dying" eventually. Everything wears out. Therefore the universe & all that is in it cannot be infinitely old.......
For we know that the whole creation groaneth
