After this,
Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished,
that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith,
I thirst.

Time to sit for a moment at the foot of the cross and learn....
* His first miracle was turning the water into "wine" (juice).
He was here to take us from the old covenant to the new-sealed with his blood.
* On the cross He tasted the "bitterness" for us...Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. John 19:29
