Creation Moment 1/29/2012 - Thoroughbreds share same ancestor

Research shows that thoroughbred horses for racing share a common ancestor from about 300 years ago. Apparently there was a genetic abberation in a horse in England that is called the "speed gene". All thoroughbred race horses are related from this common ancestor. This is what we would call natural selection, built-in-genetic diverstiy. This is how we get the different shapes, sizes & colors of horses-as well as speed ability. But at the end of the day-the horse is still a horse.....
