No need for "theological speculation"

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God
. The same was in the beginning with God
All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. . . . He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. . . . And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:1-3,10,14

"This famous opening passage of the Gospel According to John makes clear that:
Jesus is God
Jesus was with God the Father from the beginning
Jesus created everything that was created
When Jesus became a man, He was God becoming incarnate, taking on the human body, the human flesh of a human being

*A lot of theological speculation and wrangling becomes unnecessary if one simply reads the first chapter of John’s gospel."
