Munising, MI Obituary Lesson: Wrong Drinks or Falling Trees [1898 & 1899]

To day if ye will hear His voice
harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.
For what is your life? It is even a vapor
that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away
Hebrews 3:15/James 4:14

"Last fall two young Frenchmen died at Munising from the effects of drinking wood alcohol which a saloonkeeper gave them by mistake.
Recently the boys' father, who lived in Quebec, started for Munising to bring proceedings against the saloonkeeper for damages.
--He stopped at Newberry, and while in the woods near there, a tree fell on him and killed him.  [Crawford Avalanche. 6 April 1899]."
