Creation Moment 10/15/2022 - Biblical Common Sense Answer

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Genesis 1:11

"A new discovery might just change the entire evolutionary timeline
(again!). Very tiny fossils—preserved in 3D, rather than squished flat—were recently uncovered of a green algae species almost identical to a modern genus of seaweed called Codium and “surprisingly complex.”

Q: Why is that significant?
A: Well, these fossils are from some of the lowest rock layers, making them, in the evolutionary story, older than half a billion years old—half a billion years (during which five mass extinctions are believed to have taken place!) and no “evolution” occurred!

Such a find, for evolutionists, means that “plants [may have] originated earlier than previously believed” since green algae are members of the plant kingdom. And by “earlier,” the authors of the research mean up to 100 million years earlier! And if plants evolved earlier, than “it's likely that the entire evolutionary process started earlier than scientists thought, too.In other words, the whole evolutionary timeline may be off (and by a lot!). Now, how many times have we heard that evolutionists have had to change many of their ideas? Almost on a daily basis!

But these fossils don’t tell us anything about the origin of plants or anything else.
They are part of the “kinds” God created on day 3 of creation week
and have continued to reproduce, according to their kind, since then.
And that explains why they haven’t changed since they were fossilized—algae continue to produce algae!"
