31 Day Daily Devotional SERIES for the Garden of the Heart: DAY 19

  DAY 19
 LET THERE BE LIGHT to IT IS DONE
  And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying
to the seven angels,
Go your ways,
and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
 At that time shall Michael stand up,
the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble
such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.
Revelation 16:1/Daniel 12:1

And God said,
Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters,
and let it divide the waters from the waters
And God made the firmament,
and divided the waters
which were under the firmament
from the waters which were above the firmament:
and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven.
And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Genesis 1:6-8
 To the Outer Court with the world covered in a canopy of water firmament

Thou shalt also make a laver of brass
and his foot also of brass
to wash withal:
and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
For Aaron and his sons
shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:
Exodus 30:18,19

To the Outer Court with the World Baptized in Blood
 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea;
and it became as the blood of a dead man:
 and every living soul died in the sea.
Revelation 16:3

But ye are a chosen generation,
 a royal priesthood,
an holy nation,
a peculiar people;
 that ye should shew forth the praises of him
who hath called you out of darkness
into his marvellous light:
1 Peter 2:9

DAILY REMINDER
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not LOVE, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries,
and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains,
and have not LOVE, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not LOVE, it profiteth me nothing.
LOVE suffereth long, and is kind;
LOVE envieth not;
LOVE vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
And now abideth faith, hope, LOVE, these three;
but the greatest of these is LOVE.
And from Jesus Christ, .... Unto him that loved us,
and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
1 Corinthians 13:1-5,13/Revelation 1:5

 "Those who claim to be Christ's followers pledge themselves to
obedience at the time of their baptism.
The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Colossians, reminded them of their baptismal pledge, and wrote: "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God"
Colossians 3:1-3/Manuscript Releases vol.1, p.311 E.G.W.

CLOSING THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
1) CRUCIFIED WITH HIM- Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
2) BURIED WITH HIM- Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:
3) RISEN WITH HIM- ...that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4,6
