Lesson of Wabash, Indiana Obituary (1881)

Poor Fellow....
Don't let this be the sum of your life in your obituary:
"Robert Bloskie, an old miserly hunch back man, who came from
Germany to Wabash nine years ago, died on Saturday, in filth and misery.
He had some $1,500 in cash in the house, but refused to spend any of it, even to save his life(October 27, 1881; Transcribed by SallyH)
