Job's Q & A on State of the Dead

"If the grave is such a place, and if death is a sleep, is it, as atheism and infidelity assert, an eternal sleep? 

 

Job puts the question direct:  

Q: If a man die shall he live again? 

This is the very question at issue; and he answers it in the language that immediately follows; 

A: All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change come. Job xiv,14. 

 

Turning to some further testimony of Job's, we read, If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness. 

And where is now my hope? As for my hope, who shall see it? 

If he once went into a state of death, where was his hope? 

If he waited, the grave was to be his house.  

This shows us, plainly enough, 

--- that the waiting to which he refers, is waiting in the grave; 

--- and that the change that is to follow is the change that takes place from that condition. 

 

Q: And what is that change? 

A: Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee; thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.

The 3 "overturn's" (interesting observation)

David's throne was to be established forever as the throne of the

Lord, and Christ, as the seed of David, was to rule on the throne of David, his father. 

But in the time of Zedekiah concerning the kingdom the Lord said: "I will overturn, overturn, overturn it; and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is, and I will give it to him." 

It was overturned by three successive nations, and then Christ came. But it was to be no more before it was to be given to him whose right it is.

The heavenly recorders do not need to write out a statement of each particular sin of every man, but simply to indicate of the roll that pertains to each man, the particular commandment that is violated in each transgression. 

And that such a roll of the law does go with every man wherever he goes, and even abides in his house, is plain from the next words: "I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house. 

 

And unless a remedy shall be found, there that roll of the law will remain until the curse shall consume that man, and his house, "with the timber thereof and the stones thereof;" that is, until the curse shall devour the earth in that great day when the very elements shall melt with fervent heat. For "the strength of sin" and the curse "is the law." 1 Cor. 15:56. But, thanks be to God, "God sent forth His Son, made. . . under the law, to redeem them that were under the law." Gal. 4:4, 5.

All this SIN, Rebellion against God and Criminality at every spot on earth Ripples for generations --- now you know why  there is Pain, Suffering and Death....so QUIT BLAMING GOD FOR MAN'S OWN CHOICES AND THE RESULTS THEREOF.

 

I. The trek to get back the concubine.

III. The Bi-Sexual men of Belial's Sinful hearts---leads to a Rape.

IV. The Rape leads to a Death.

Judges 19:26-28 ...And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold. And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. 

 

V. The Gruesome Announcement.

Judges 19:29-30, 20:1-11 ...he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel. VI.  Benjamin refuses to punish the wicked ones responsible.

VII. Support for the Wicked Criminal element leads to a near Genocide of Benjamin--placing tribe/culture ahead of obedience to God.

VIII. Leading to a complete Genocide of Jabeshgilead by the Israelites following their own human wisdom.

There is a reason we are told not to dabble in the occult, the opening of the door of the veil  between the seen and unseen....lucifer is a very powerful being that thought to himself, as he stood before the throne of God, "i can take Him on"....Now imagine the immense Power of this God that lucifer stood before as he thought this....a God who can speak into existence this VAST universe---such as a star within our Galaxy---that is 25 TRILLION Miles away!.....and yet lucifer thought he has/had a chance.
