What does Matt. 24:6 Really Teach

 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6

 

Some think that since the books were opened in 1844 that the end will include some sort of global war. Even more in non-SDA churches hold the view that the end MUST include some type of WW3 scenario.

 

Q: BUT WHAT DOES THE TEXT ACTUALLY SAY? 

A: ...but the end is not yet.

 

Since the mid 1800's we've had a U.S. Civil War, 2 World wars,

Vietnam, Korea, a War on Terror...there was Pol Pot and the infamous Killing Fields in Cambodia, more than one Congolese war in the last two and a half decades (well over 5,000,000 dead), a war in Paraguay that literally nearly wiped out the whole male population, the Bloody Violent Bolshevik Revolution, Mao's takeover of China with nearly 50,000,000 corpses wracked up, the war in Syria, current civil war in Lybia, ect.......

The Bloodshed just since 1844 makes all else prior pale in comparison.

 ..but the end is not yet.
