God gives us a principle in Deuteronomy.
He needs more than one witness.
In Lucifer's rebellion in heaven there were only 2 groups--only one group could be a witness against Lucifer.
Know ye not that we shall judge angels?
1 Corinthians 6:3
At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
Deuteronomy 17:6
