IN the NEWS - Vatican calls her a "witness" / Some Push Back against their "Witness"

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Galatians 1:6

"Vatican officials hailed Swedish teen Greta Thunberg, recently named TIME Magazine’s “Person of the Year” for her
environmental advocacy, as a “great witness” of Church teaching on care for creation and the human person.
Born in Sweden in 2003, Thunberg exploded onto the global scene in August 2018 for initiating the “school strike for climate” movement, with her protest outside of the Swedish parliament in Stockholm gaining widespread media attention.
She pointed her finger at business and political leaders for using what she called “clever accounting and creative PR” instead of rallying to combat climate change, saying, “We indeed have some work to do but some more than others.”
---the Push Back against the Vatican Witness---
You have another continent [Asia] where the fumes are rising at levels that you can’t believe,” the president said at Davos. “I mean,
I think Greta ought to focus on those places.”
But Greta’s silence does make sense when you consider that her and her handlers already admitted, in an op/ed published by Project Syndicate, that the “climate crisis” is “not just about the environment” but is intended to dismantle the “current world order:”
“That action must be powerful and wide-ranging. After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all. Our political leaders can no longer shirk their responsibilities.”

Notice how Greta has barely paid any attention to the red and orange areas of the world, most notably Asia, all while focusing on Europe and America."
