"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
Foundations” is a metaphor for the order of society, the established institutions which are the social and civil order of the community.
The foundation of society has been almost totally destroyed today.
Our ancestors would be hurt deeply, if they could see the terrible things our society calls normal behavior.,,,, the filth on television, movies, books, and even common conversation on the street corner.
