Christ's Requirements to be Our HIGH PRIEST

"Wherefore in all things it behooved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God." (Heb. 2:17)

In this it is declared that Christ's condescension,

--His likeness to mankind,

--His being made flesh

--and dwelling amongst men,

was necessary to His becoming "a merciful and faithful High Priest."
