IN the NEWS - "John of God" on the Run

"John of God", or better put in this case, John of the devil, is apparently on the Run...For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce,... Mark 13:22

"Brazilian authorities issued an arrest warrant on Friday for a
famous spirit medium accused of sexually abusing hundreds of female patients.
The whereabouts of Joao Teixeira de Faria, 76, commonly known as ’John of God’, are currently unclear. In an appearance at his clinic on the outskirts of Brasilia earlier this week Faria denied the allegations against him.
By Friday evening public prosecutors in the Brazilian state of Goias had received 335 complaints since the first accusations against Faria became public last weekend. Women, teenagers and even children -- including his own daughter -- are among the medium’s alleged victims. Former patients from across Brazil as well as the U.S., Germany and Australia have contacted the authorities.
"This case of John of God is really emblematic because he’s someone who is known internationally," said Carolina Vicentin, one of the co-founders of the Brazilian magazine AzMina.
Consulted by Brazilian presidents and lauded by international celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Faria established himself as the country’s pre-eminent healer, offering surgery to the sick guided only by spirits. The medium visited Temer in hospital last year, while former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva sought his assistance during his treatment for cancer.
Thousands travel to Faria’s clinic in the center-west town of Abadiania for treatment every week, and its economy is almost entirely based on tourism." BQ

"Faria says he was told by his spirit guides that he must expand his work to reach more people and spiritist medium Chico Xavier told him he should go to the small Goiás town of Abadiânia to fulfill his healing mission. Around 1978, when João first performed healings there, he just sat outdoors in a chair near the main road where people began to arrive seeking cures for their various illnesses and conditions. Gradually the numbers increased to thousands per day and he developed his centre, Casa de Dom Inácio de Loyola.
Uhm...is that the founder of the Jesuits on the left in the picture
on the wall by one of "Johns" "magic triangles"?

The Casa de Dom Inácio de Loyola has since been visited by millions of people seeking healing.
Much of his income comes from selling passionflower preparations, the single herb prescribed by Faria to cure a variety of ailments.
Faria regularly prescribes meditation and walks to a nearby waterfall as part of treatment. The Casa also sells herbs, blessed items and artefacts such as magic triangles. It was estimated by 60 Minutes Australia in 2014 that these sales earn Faria over $10 million per year.
When called for a spiritual surgery by Faria, patients are offered the choice of 'visible' or 'invisible' operations.
Susan Casey wrote in O Magazine about her trip to see Faria in Brazil and ....she discusses her need to deal with the traumatic loss of her father. After he suddenly died in 2008, Casey experienced a "tsunami of grief" that she says she couldn't escape from. She wondered if Faria could help heal her grief. She met him twice and later stated, "Three hours went by like 20 minutes, and it was blissful--it was like I was floating." Casey claims she was able to speak with her dead father. "It was very real," she says. "More of a vision than I had ever had before. ... I got this feeling like I shouldn't be sad, that everything was okay." wiki
