IN the NEWS - Australian Law & Confessionals

"Recently Australia’s territorial assembly in Canberra passed a measure tightening Canberra’s child abuse reporting law to include Catholic priests, making it illegal for priests to fail to report abuse they learn about in the confessional. The provision will take effect on March 31 next year."

There is NOTHING in the Christian Holy Book calling for confessions to another human of one's private sins...hence the confessional isn't part of the "Christian" faith, therefore it shouldn't be protected under the guise as a freedom of religion issue....sooooooooooooo....you know what the Christian Holy Book says in that case--
....saith he unto them,
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's;
 and unto God the things that are God's.
Matthew 22:21
