The redeemed raise a song of praise that echoes and re-echoes through the vaults of heaven:
Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Revelation 7:10.
As soon as the books of record are opened, and the eye of Jesus looks upon the wicked, they are conscious of every sin which they have ever committed.
The seductive temptations which they encouraged by indulgence in sin, the blessings perverted, the messengers of God despised, the warnings rejected, the waves of mercy beaten back by the stubborn, unrepentant heart--all appear as if written in letters of fire... like a panoramic view appear the scenes of Adam's temptation and fall, and the successive steps in the great plan of redemption.
While the earth was wrapped in the fire of destruction, the righteous abode safely in the Holy City. Upon those that had part in the first resurrection, the second death has no power.
The great controversy is ended. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean.
With undimmed vision they gaze upon the glory of creation--suns and stars and systems, all in their appointed order circling the throne of Deity. From the minutest atom to the greatest world, all things declare that God is love.
