Papal Notes - Uhmmm... Francis...

Who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 ESV

And blasphemy, the sin against the Holy Spirit, is the only unpardonable sin - so Jesus says - because it starts from a closure of the heart to the mercy of God acting in Jesus,” the pope said June 10 in St. Peter’s Square."  EWTN

Uhmmm.... Francis...and Scripture lists 2 things as specifically Blasphemy-
1) Claiming power to forgive sins (ever heard of Last Rites, Mass, Confession, etc.?)
2) Claiming to be God (Who calims the title on earth of "Holy Father"?)
