Therefore is the name of it called Babel;

because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth:

and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

The words of the LORD

the LORD scattered them from there all over the earth (11:8)     (ויפץ)

A'(11:9)

the LORD confused the speech of all the world (11:9)     (שׂפת)

A: The same language and confused language.

B: Scattered all over the earth.

C: The words of the LORD.
